Moscow, March 10, Interfax - The US President will be held accountable to God for lifting limits on stem cell research, Hieromonk Dimitry (Pershin) believes.
"The democratic president has brought American science back to extensive development. It is not inconceivable that the world will hold another Nuremberg Trial to condemn the destruction of human lives at the embryonic stage of development. But even Obama is unable to escape the Heaven, and the Heaven holds Judgment," Fr. Dimitry, Chairman of the Committee for Biomedical Ethics and Medical Law of the All-Russian Orthodox Youth Movement, said to Interfax-Religion.
According to Fr. Dimitry, "Obama pays those who have voted for him at his elections with human lives which are at the embryonic stage of development."
"Experiments on humans without the voluntary consent of the human subject were practiced in the Nazi Germany and have been banned in 1947 by the Nuremberg Code issued after the Nuremberg Trials and the following Declaration of Helsinki in 1963; however, this ban has never covered the lives of unborn humans. Medical fascism, therefore, has drifted to this area of practice," Fr. Dimitry said.
Fr. Dimitry noted that "we are facing a paradox: "the freest democracy in the world," a guarantor of liberal values, and a complete legal nihilism in stem cell research".
"Ethical norms narrow down the margin of experiments, but thereby they suggest the direction to move forward. Japan has excluded human stem cells experiments, and as a result it became the first country to produce embryonic stem cells from skin. Americans followed them in that and obtained similar results thanks in large part to the ban on human stem cell experiments introduced by a conservative and Christian President Bush Jr.," he said.
Good find. God bless the priest. V’s wife.
One expects nothing less from a democrat. He never met a dead baby he didn’t like.
If embryonic stem cells actually had some success, the researchers would not need federal dollars. Not only is this immoral, it is also a bailout of science that just doesn’t cut it. Plenty of success has been had with skin cells, umbilical cord cells, even fat cells. The Obamination and his cronies are bailing out bad science with human lives.
Making life to kill it, and seeing it as modern, urbane, rational and “scientific” puts those who espouse the view in league with their NAZI forbearer. NAZI scientists would be proud. Breeding a slave caste solely for the purpose of killing them and harvesting their bodies. That’s the road to perdition. It is an evil after-image of the Incarnation. We already live in a world in which the young are enslaved to the old via taxes and misbegotten government “compassion”, and the unborn are enslaved to repay the debt of the profligate, spend-happy, bail-me-out-of-my-own-excess parents.
It is funny how the same people who believe the unborn have no rights nonethless believe it is legitimate to burden the unborn with enslaving debt. Indeed, their egregious spending hinges upon the chimera that the unborn will pay the debts of the living. The unborn, then, have fiduciary viability before the first trimester.
In heaven a fetus killed for its stem cells will meet one allowed to live and they will swap misery stories, but both with the same enemy at the center, and he or she will be old, botoxed, pampered, and unbearably selfish. No one superstitious folks in the middle ages told stories of evil queens who bathed in virgins’ blood to preserve their youth and beauty. And no wonder monarchy is almost dead. Democracy, or what passes for it, Plutocracy, may be currently in its twilight. Life for the living, freedom for the free; all others, take a number or better yet, an IOU from the Obama administration.
I understand that these embryos are slated to die anyway...Is that correct???
