Pastor Rick Warren starts a magazine (any Oprah connection?)
Wall Street Journal ^ | 1-27-2009 | Russel Adams

He has written one of the best-selling books in history. But can pastor Rick Warren sell a magazine?

The test starts this week, with the debut of Purpose Driven Connection, a quarterly publication from Reader's Digest Association to be sold as part of a bundle of multimedia products its backers hope will connect Christians to each other and God. A subscription includes access to a Facebook-like Christian social-media Web site and DVD guides for leading a prayer group.

I wonder if pastor (sic) Rick worked on this deal with Oprah. Will the queen of media and Obama's pal Oprah plug his new magazine?

Is a Purpose Driven Life mean you support murdering babies? Seems like the only "purpose" there is serving Satan.

Any articles on how his pal the faux 666 messaiah supports letting newborn unwanted babies die in a metal tray? Any articles by Obama's other pal Bishop Gene Robinson on how he thinks of God when his boyfriend is _______. Yeah Robinson said it. How about that old time properity Christianity fraud where if I pray hard enough I will get a new BMW.

Warren is a phony. I also do not support the phbony 50+% of CINOs (fake catholics) who support Der Messiah or the 78% of (liberal) American Jews who voted by the Islamo-Ober Fueher. I do support Mormons who were attacked by morons like Tom Hanks.

Warren is a phony. Because he prayed at the Inauguration? Or do you have other objections?

The Publicity Driven Life.

Warren is part of an attempt to subvert the church.

God has not called us to slay the “giants” he speaks of. Other Freepers are better at pointing out his errors than I

Yup. This is what I am thinking. I do not bash Catholics either just the liberals in the church harming the good things being done. I think Rick Warren is trying to win over evangelicals to Obama.

I cannot fathom how a religious leader could speak for a man who is so pro-abortion. Warren should have politely declined and allowed Obama to wallow around with his rcaist preachers and gay Bishop Gene Robinson who causd a split in the Anglican Chruch.

Pop preacher puts out more pop for our pop society, with our “phony”, pop president, and our ignorant, pop culture. And that’s the nature of pop, more and more pop, even though the first pop was too much.

Come quickly Lord Jesus. Free us from all this pop.

Warren is a phony - I will say it too. While he claims to be an evangelical Christian, the simple definition implies someone who preaches and teaches that Jesus Christ is the only way to God/Heaven/Eternal Life (which is the truth).

Rick Warran has to be pushed very hard for him to even touch the subject. He has become pals with Obama (a Muslim/Socialist/Commie/non-Christian). Warren has played the softball game for a long time in the interest of selling humanist-teaching books (and fattening his wallet).

He is a sell-out and fits the bill quite nicely for a false-prophet of the Anti-Christ. Right along side Oprah - they seem to me to be perfect players for such a roll in the coming One-World Religion.

The local pastor at a very popular local evangelical church constantly tells his parishoners that it is not about him. To essentially not worship him. Sadly I have seen that with priests and pastors where the flock worship them and God.

This is a real problem in mega churches, TV ministries etc. This is why I do not trust them. Meanwhile a pastor or priest with a small congregation is doing the right thing and is ignored because they do not have a best selling book. I have endless respect for pastors and priests who visit hospitals to see sick parishoners versus having a mega flock and TV services.

Der Mullah Dear Leader und Ober Fuehrer & False Messiah is one of the biggest pro abortion politician to come down the road. Warren could have begged off on praying with and for the mullah. His books and new magazine were more important.

Рик Уоррен является ложным пророком и учителем светского гуманизма под видом христианского учения. Я не доверяю ему.

OR:

Rick Warren ist ein falscher Prophet und Lehrer des säkularen Humanismus unter dem Deckmantel der christlichen Lehre. Ich vertraue ihm nicht.

Ich nicht verstehe. I spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch sind?

I always screw up the verb at the end of the sentence. Actually the Germans were duped by an Austrian illegal alien.

I understood most of it. Warren is a false prophet and teacher sahgularen (?) hummanist under the Deckmantel (?) the chsritian people.

I do not vertraue him? Trust is vertraue?

Speaking of German. Pope Benedict “got it” about Islam - he spoke up and then got bashed over the head by the media. :-(
