I believe healing is available to any and everyone, because thats why Jesus shed his Blood at the whipping post. But it will take FAITH to make it happen. Sorry to disagree, but if it isn't in God's plan, it ain't gonna happen. God's ways are not our ways, and having faith in Him, means accepting His ways over our own.
Yes, God has healed people, and will continue to do so, but it seems clear God does not let His son's name be wielded as a magic wand. He knows what's best. Recall the first thing Jesus said to the paraplegic who was lowered through the roof: "Your sins are forgiven.". In God's eyes, that was the greatest need of the man; ofcoarse from a worldly perspective the fact that the man was paralyzed was what was important.

It is not God's will for any of us to be sick, ever. Disease is from the devil, and did not exist before the fall of man (in the Garden). It is a corruption of the human body...as we were made in the image of God, it is something else the devil hates about us and seeks to destroy. Sin is a corruption of the human soul, and disease is a corruption of the physical body. And I believe it's God's will for us to receive healing of both.

I'm not sure what you mean by that, as the Bible clearly states that we are healed through faith in the name of Jesus.
Mark 16:17-18: "And these signs shall follow them that BELIEVE, IN MY NAME shall they cast out devils...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Remember the context to see the important point of this encounter: "When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven.""
