Billions of people attend millions of churches around the world to worship God.
Yet the God they worship is completely imaginary. Their belief represents a delusion.
It is easy to prove that God is imaginary. Start at the beginning with Proof #1, or try these five all-time favorites:
Analyse prayer Imagine heaven Notice your church Understand delusion Think about science

All people have religious faith, including you. If you perceive that God is imaginary, and act accordingly. Then that is all about "faith".
You are acting in faith that your perception is real.
And not only that but their (athiests) perspective is so short. They see only this brief mortal life and base all morality on this. They don't take into account eternity.
Not Newtonian, but “Enlightenment” mind-sets. “Philosophers” such as Voltaire, whose understanding of Newtonian physics wa son the same level as
a bright high school student, popularized Newton’s ideas and confused two generations of the western elite. His hostility to Christianity and his benign view of Islam have also had long lasting effects on opinion.
In fact, one could argue G = J + iA, where A = Allah and J = Jesus.
Well, no, I was addressing the writer’s notion that if we prayed for everyone in the world to be healed of all their diseases, it wouldn’t happen. Healing is very real...of this I can attest to...but it’s not quite that simple.
I believe healing is available to any and everyone, because that’s why Jesus shed his Blood at the whipping post. But it will take FAITH to make it happen.
Literally, its all imaginary. We construct a mental picture of reality based on input from our senses. Without consciousness the term reality is academic.
Exactly. You just embellished on my comments. Thanks.
I understand that erudite naturalists attempt to solve this delima with the idea of a "multi-verse".
Seemingly the typical naturalist hasn't even realized that the big bang made their silly philosophy implausble.
You're negating your original reply to me, that religion provides answers to difficult questions, and a sense of societal cohesion.
Protective coloration, presumably.
Darn vampires will eat just about anything, I guess.
From #4: All of science works in this way. Only by assuming that God is imaginary and prayer is meaningless can science proceed.
Exactly when did science adopt these criteria as a prerequisite for scientific investigation?
Not at all. A person need not have faith to see the usefullness of a dellusion.
Sorry to disagree, but if it isn't in God's plan, it ain't gonna happen. God's ways are not our ways, and having faith in Him, means accepting His ways over our own.
Yes, God has healed people, and will continue to do so, but it seems clear God does not let His son's name be wielded as a magic wand. He knows what's best. Recall the first thing Jesus said to the paraplegic who was lowered through the roof: "Your sins are forgiven.". In God's eyes, that was the greatest need of the man; ofcoarse from a worldly perspective the fact that the man was paralyzed was what was important.
Note that God is not sophisticated enough to understand the concept of inflation. It is now 3,000 years later, and a gored slave is still worth 30 shekels of silver according to God's word.
What idiocy. What breathtaking arrogance.
As a side note, does Al Gore have slaves like this argument says?
Parents sometimes say yes, sometimes say no, and sometimes make you wait...proof that parents don't exist.</sarcasm>

I’m guessing this site won’t last for long according to all that.
If God doesn’t exist why are athiests so obsessed with Him?
Funny thing is, that the majority of doctors have said they have witnessed miracles in their practice and have seen people get better with no rational explanation. But this is just anecdotal evidence according to the antitheist.
I can not pass on coming traffic without some faith that the other driver is not feeling suicidal.
I can not cross a bridge without faith in some engineers and construction workers.
It is not a plausible way of life to check on the veracity of all the thousands upon thousands of assumptions we make every day. Heck, checking one fact would require the assumption of more than one other fact.
Every day we all operate in faith, and none of us have any real choice.
