"Godless Holiday" ad campaign
Fox 45 News ^ | November 12 2008

The American Humanist Association, or AHA, has announced the launch of a "godless holiday" ad campaign on Metro buses in Washington, D.C.

The new ads will show a picture of a fake Santa Claus and read: "Why believe in a God? Just be good for goodness' sake".

The group says they don't want atheists to be left alone in their convictions over the holidays.

But some experts from religious groups are criticizing the campaign, saying that morality and the intention to do good is based on a belief in God.

In 1963 The Communist Goals were read into the Congressional record based on a book written by Cleon Skousen titled The Naked Communist. Two of the points:

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

Coming up with a "fake Santa Claus" is an insult to the Sa'ami, Europe's smallest minority. This campaign is racist from it's very inception and foundation.

In fact, it's a HATE CRIME.

The Atheists should learn to fear the Sa'ami shamen, not ridicule them.

"Why believe in a God? Just be good for goodness' sake".

Hey dum dums, if it's all matter in motion, there can be no no "goodness" or evil.

Get to know your own irrational ideology.

Why advertise a “godless holiday” when every day is just that for those who prefer the dark side?

Well, wasn't that their choice to push God out from their miserable life?

"...Just be good for goodness' sake".

Prove to me that good exists. And even if there's such a thing as good, where was good when Communists killed over 100 million people? Your belief in good is just a crutch for weak minds and foolish hearts.

Why don't you just leave me alone, you proselytizing pukes?

Yes, that's true. They could pick any of the other 364 days -- why piggyback on a holiday they think they don't believe in?

Christmas is a holiday from godlessness.

This ad campaign will focus religious groups. The atheists are actually doing us a favor.

They’re complaining they don’t have a holiday? That the holidays don’t speak to them?

The word HOLY DAY should be a clue.

Nothing is holy to those who think their just a random accidental glob of protoplasm functioning for a brief time and then gone. Anything one blob does is no better nor worse than any other blob.

Morality truly would not exist without God.

They can check those off their list. Done and done. Well done, in fact.

I don’t believe atheism exists...its just a figment of some people’s imagination.

Doesn't the title “Christmas” come from the reference to the special church service that was held each year to honer the birth of the Savior.

It was called the “Christ Mass”
