Unless the Party of Abortion can muster 60 votes in the Senate, the Freedom of Choice Act will be a dead letter, the PRI briefing states, asking pro-lifers to redouble their efforts to expose the abortion movement as an anti-child, anti-woman movement that has cost America 50 million lives and counting.

Ironically, the death toll is disproportionally Black. But I guess when you are half black you cut the death toll in half.
50 Million dead. The ultimate in shame.
No...He was going to do it by Presidential...whatever it’s called...by passing the House and Senate.
Ping!
Can someone explain to me the position of Conservatives, not because I think you’re dumb - but the fact that the position confuses me. You want to ban abortion, okay that’s fine - However do you really believe that women will just give up having the abortion if they truly believe they aren’t ready for a child, or they don’t want a child? Do you really believe they’ll just say WELL THAT’S THAT I GUESS I’M GONNA BE A MOM THEN! and do you believe the pro-choice doctors who would have women be in a safe and clean environment where the procedure is no big danger to her life, rather than her trying to do it herself with a coathanger? - Do you believe those doctors will just stop what they’re doing because of the ban?
I don’t really think so, I think they’ll find a way around it - For example: Sail to international waters where american law doesn’t count and perform it there(Spanish doctors are doing it), or just have a dangerous, dirty and unsafe abortion in some shitty clinic that officially doesn’t exist, or perform it themselves(Isn’t hard, it’s dangerous sure, but isn’t hard to improvise)
confession time: I was turned into a pro-lifer by a middle aged black single mom (by divorce) democrat. She put in such words that I couldn’t respond. “You made your choice when you were knockin’ boots with her without being married”
Thanks Paulette, I have never fogotten your words of wisdom.
I would challenge you to ask any woman who has had a abortion if she ever regretted it later in life. Two that I know of do have regrets.
So you have no value for human life? How much is your life worth to you? Should I argue that murders should not be stopped from killing you because it’s too much trouble to stop them? Or that they might find a way to kill you no matter what so we should just set back and watch them kill you? I think not! Even the life of a liberal is of value.
Welcome to Free Republic. I doubt that you’re here very long. But welcome just the same.
Only the mother can prevent the murder of the baby in an abortion, by not having it. Many would not do it because it's illegal and they don't want to go to jail. This saves lives. The rest will do whatever they can get away with.
If our society does not stand against the taking of innocent life, what do we stand for?
You made your choice when you were knockin boots with her without being married

Now that’s STRAIGHT TALK!
What would happen in a major US city if murder was legalized just for 15 minutes?
Do you see now the effect that law has?
If women opt to use a coat hanger and kill themselves while killing their baby, well.... that’s justice!
Making it illegal is just part of the solution. Education/assistance and prevention is where our true hope lies. This country has a huge waiting list of adoptive parents....linking them with expectant parents who need financial aid would be a good start. If we can pay the bills for the Mom....including lost wages.....then it changes the outcome.
I don’t think most of these women/girls WANT to kill their babies...a huge percentage is economic (going to lose my job/have another mouth to feed). If we can only help this segment....we save a lot of heart-ache.
The Doctors will stop...if they are threatened with losing thie licenses.
Thanks for the fair questions.
