Owen is actually a distant uncle of mine as my grandfather found the story in St. Mary's Church while on a visit to England nearly 40 years ago. Owen's brother David was the 4 x great grandfather of my Revolutionary War ancestor Joseph Phippen (1745-1826) who appears on P. 314 Index of the Rolls of Honor (Ancestor's Index) in the Lineage Books of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Vol. II.

Interesting stuff which, I suppose, also makes me a distant relative of the Kennedy's matriarch Rose Fitzgerald.

I think Our Lady of the Rosary is Our Lady of Victory too, so saying the Rosary is real important. This is probably mentioned in the story so sorry if I repeat it.
