Pastor's Wife Embroiled in Civil Trial Addresses Lakewood Church Members [Vicky Osteen Watch]

HOUSTON -- The wife of the pastor of globally-recognized Lakewood Chruch thanks thousands of church members for their support as she faces a civil lawsuit from a Continental Airlines flight attendant.

Victoria Osteen told members of her congregation during a church service Sunday, "Your prayers and your support has so blessed me and I have felt it."

"I've been going through this for 2 and a half almost 3 years," added Osteen.

During the sermon, Osteen appeared to be referring to her pending civil trial. She told her congregants, "I believe that God is going to bring me this victory, but whatever happens I will not step back, I will not shrink back and I will not quit."

Victoria Osteen is accused of assaulting flight attendant Sharon Brown over a small spill on her seat back in 2005.

Former Continental Airlines captain and Lakewood Church member Mike Machehehl told FOX 26 News, "I think it's been unfair to Victoria Osteen."

Brown's attorney told FOX 26, "We will let the jury decide, that's how we want it. We think that twelve jurors will find that she (Victoria Osteen) did it. She struck, pushed and injured my client. We hope they will try the case based on the evidence presented." The trial against Victoria Osteen is scheduled to resume Tuesday.

Oh brother.

How come Ms. Osteen wasn’t blessed by prayers and feeling it when she was allegedly whoopin’ up on this flight attendant?

What Brown’s lawyer could not say was that he hopes to pack the jury with parasites like his client who will help her win the lawsuit lottery .

Even if she is 100% guilty of what the flight attendant is accusing her of doing, a lawsuit for 10% of her net worth is ridiculous on its face and should have been thrown out; and the judge should have ordered the plaintiff and her attorneys to pay the Osteen’s legal fees.

alledgedly is still a keyword. When someone is looking for a big payday, you have to take the allegations with a grain of salt. I am sure Victoria did not act as a perfect lady, but trying to get on planes is not always a most pleasant experience, and I have seen attitude on display by several flight attendants in the past.

She certainly has that wacky eyeball thing going, doesn’t she? Reminds me of the runaway bride.

***but trying to get on planes is not always a most pleasant experience***

I fly enough that I am upgraded to 1st Class or international business class a couple of times a year. It’s not that bad in the front of the plane and the attendants fawn over you.

BTW, the FAA fined Vicky for her behavior.

Wow - that plaintiff now has to fight God too!
Will Vickie call on God as a character witness?

Actually, a pox on both of them.
The flight attendant is probably gold digging, and Osteen was acting like all rich spoiled celebrity types do, expecting the world to move for them.

I hope the jury finds them both at fault.

I wouldn’t be surprised to learn witnesses claiming to hear her screaming to the stewardesses, “And no wire hangers!”

Why has that photo not been used as a ‘caption this’ on the general/chat forum? Or has it and I missed it?

It has tremendous potential.

There are very few natural blonds who have dark eyebrows. Dark haired women who have their hair bleached REALLY should have those eyebrows lightened as well.
