The Vedas state that the moon is 800,000 miles farther from the earth than the sun.So what is the big round thing in the sky night then? Sheesh. What do these "scriptures" say 9-11?

Since Lord Krishnafishna Vishnududu says that the moon is 800,000 miles further from us than the sun, the really significant question is not "How did NASA fake the moon landings?" The real question is "How has NASA faked all those lunar eclipses?" Not only those that happen every year somewhere in the world, but also eclipses going back centuries that are mentioned in written historical records of many cultures and civilizations?
Boy, those NASA guys are a lot smarter than we ever dreamed!!

They sort of take the opposite view of the Mormons, in that the Mormons believed there were people on the Moon for quite some time, according to the prior thread you posted, from around 1892.

Well, if you watch some of the videos as I have of the astronauts cavorting, you will see one thing for sure.
They kick up dust.
The dust falls back down.
Now I don’t know if the video was shot on the moon, on Mars, on some back lot near Hollywood, or in the Great Land of Oz, but I can tell you one thing.
It was shot in an airless environment!

For Discussion. Okay. The individual writing the following:
"The Vedic account of our planetary system is already researched, concluded, and perfect. The Vedas state that the moon is 800,000 miles farther from the earth than the sun. Therefore, even if we accept the modern calculation of 93 million miles as the distance from the earth to the sun, how could the "astronauts" have traveled to the moon--a distance of almost 94 million miles--in only 91 hours (the alleged elapsed time of the Apollo 11 moon trip)?"
... is a mouth-breather. Next...? ;)

Note that the lunar retroreflectors are considered as strong evidence that man did indeed walk on the moon. These are the stationary reflectors on the moon's surface that you might hear about every once in awhile that reflect laser-ranging beams back to the earth.

“The Vedic account of our planetary system is already researched, concluded, and perfect.”
And you’ve been keeping this all to yourself? Actually according to all accounts the astronauts were much happier to get back than to leave even if the trip was exciting.
They could’ve used that astral projection thing but it seems to work better on the t.v. than on the tarmac.
Anyway, Goswami, I’m sure with folks like yourself applying your wisdom the U.S. will be like India in no time. Matter of fact some say it’s well on the way now. But until later, Goswami,,,Go swami!
