Not only is Mormonism a Christian faith, it is the truest form of Christianity, said speaker after speaker on the first day of the 177th Semiannual LDS General Conference. LDS authorities were responding to the allegation that Mormonism isn't part of Christianity. Made by different mainline Protestant and Catholic churches and repeated constantly during coverage of Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, the claim is based on Mormonism's beliefs about God, its rejection of ancient ideas about the Trinity still widely accepted, and the LDS Church's extra-biblical scriptures. "It is not our purpose to demean any person's belief nor the doctrine of any religion," said Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland in the afternoon session. "But if one says we are not Christians because we do not hold a fourth- or fifth-century view of the Godhead, then what of those first [Christians], many of whom were eye-witnesses of the living Christ, who did not hold such a view either?"
{snip}
The day's sermons included many familiar themes, including the importance of faith, the need for pure thoughts and actions, avoiding pornography reaching out to neighbors and eliminating spiritual procrastination. Hinckley talked about the destructive nature of anger in marriages, on the road, and in life, urging Mormons to "control your tempers, to put a smile upon your faces, which will erase anger; speak with words of love and peace, appreciation and respect."

So you have a vast knowledge of these groups and what they consider GOD is like, or are you just listening to what some ANTI-Presbyterian has informed you about??
+++++++++++++++++++=
No just some, and the differences between them are big. Enough to be able to say there is a problem.

After studying the many churches, I come to find the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints to be the church God leads, Through Jesus, then through his prophet.
I dunno...that’s a pretty definitive statement if you ask me.
And the kind of statement that gets you the opposition that you either crave or loathe...Sometimes its hard to tell
LOL!!

If you do not believe what you are doing is correct, it probably isn’t.

The conflict is how to control my anger at the WAY you speak of my church..

And again you leave out an import part to make what I said sound differently then what I really said.
the rest is “not of what you finally get around to saying”

And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, Never mind, all is wellI am well enough off. I then said to my mother, I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.
Can you tell us why he used that example with his mother, it is important.

You are a hoot. Speaking to you is tantamount to talking in circles...
On one hand, you say you are still "searching"...on the other hand you say you are at the ONLY CHURCH that God speaks thru...
Once again..I think you are just jerking the posters around here.
I'm done.

But Mormons have a real problem, your reference point is not the Book of Mormon, but Joseph Smith himself.

Part true, our reference point is Jesus, through Joseph Smith and today Jesus, through His Living Prophet.

If Joseph Smith turns out to be a cheap charlatan, your whole religion goes up in smoke, you arent faced with doctrinal disagreement, you are face with a massive collapse of faith.

You cite the testimony of a man doing exactly what the Bible says is the sign of anti-christ denying the Christ, God with us has come in the flesh and you foolishly ask why this persons testimony is rejected? Son/daughter, you are close to having the dust shaken at your doorstep for God will not always strive with you to enlighten your persihing spirit. Flee from the ones feeding these demonic morsels to you.
+++++++++++++++++++++++
Let me do to you what you do to us.
You say the testimony of the one book you believe in is better then the testimony of this man, and others not yet stated. How aregent, this proves you are deleted and need to change. Run from the false teachings because the evidence proves your are wrong.
Ps. If I really believed what I just said, I would be also saying I was wrong.

I hope you also question your beliefs. It helps you to grow and learn. Sometimes you learn you are right and sometimes you learn you are wrong. If you are afraid of learning you are wrong, you have no faith in yourself being right.
Ps, that is questioning, not “searching”, there is a bit of a difference.

That post you just made is eerily like a restornu post in the syntax and spelling errors. Do you live close to each other, did you attend the same school, or do you have the same affliction restornu reminds us often that she has?

Personally, I’d avoid middlemen when it comes to my soul.

It should be clear to those who've engaged the Mormonism apologists for months now that Mormonism isn't based on the B of M, it is based upon the dictates 'by revelation' of one Joe Smith and the minions who've followed along in his rambling footsteps. The Smithism contradictions to the B of M show just how absurd the religion is, yet the apologists do not see the contradictions because, as you wisely said, they cannot afford to else the 'faith' would crumble like the empty house of heretical cards it is. Again, Augustine's comment seems accurate for this enigmatic group of religious people:
"...truth is loved in such a way that those who love some other thing want it to be the truth, and, precisely because they do not wish to be deceived, are unwilling to be convinced that they are deceived." -- St. Augustine
