Do you have a cite for the artificial insemination of Mary?

KJV Luke 1:34-35
34. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35. And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

There are various theories floating around out there ...

So it's not exactly written in stone just WHAT it means.

[stranger to you....Yes you are now a stranger when you leave the flock!

When members of a cult turn their backs on former members and treat them like strangers it is called shunning and is a recognized tactic of cults.]

That is probably the most clear description I seen of what goes on that many here will not acknowledge - the “shunning” of former members.

Bears repeating I haven't called mormonism a cult, but this behavior is a fact of life if you leave it, I know!

It was a supernatural action. Mormon’s have it wrong.

Thank you for your opinion, I will give it all due consideration.

Are they COMMANDED to do so??

In the Church folks who have free will majoirty would not want to offend the Lord council, and some have the attitude they are putting one over on the Church not realizing it really is the Lord they are dismissing.

The leaders of the Church can advise and council and even tell us about out right commandments/covenants, but some where in the minds of some the focus get redirected towards the Church which only is the Lord's messengers.

My relationship is with the Godhead and striving to always Have the spirit of the Lord in my life.

It is not the leaving I would shun some one it is the ugliness one produces when they know in their hearts some of the things they are saying they are distorting to make their point.

I know folks who left the Chruch but they don't become backbitters they move on with their life and I can remain friends with them because I respect their choice.

But if they started a champaign against the church sure I would shun them and find them a stranger which it came to Church things!

When Lucifer left the fold to do his own thing is he not an out cast to the Heavenly Father an enemy?

The thing that I’ve found disturbing isn’t “shunning,” but from the testimony of former Mormons, that the church encourages divorce when one of the spouses leaves the Mormon church. This is contrary to the Bible which says that you should not leave an unbelieving spouse. It is also cult-like in it’s attempted control of members by force and fear.

The stone is mostly local depicting a Kiva. The red cedar (Mountain Juniper) around the front door is local.

Cedar siding is out of the Northwest. all the pillars are local spruce and fir. We have a water turn on the old Mormon irrigation ditch. We’re trying to build a reservoir this year to capture some of it. It’s a very dry year this year so the lawns are tough to keep wet.

King James Version
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Please note the stark differentiation between by what and whom is justified prior to the Great White Throne of Judgment (the Bride and wedding guests are justified by faith not of their works) and then when the Great Throne occurs (those Judged at the Great Throne will be Judged according to their works). Also, note that scrolls/books are mentioned. When you were saved by confessing with your mouth your trust in Christ, your name was written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and you became a member at the wedding party, as Bride or guest. You will not be standing for Judgment at the Great White Throne of Judgment; the Bride of Christ is not Judged at the Great White Throne of Judgment because those of the Bride are justified by their faith in Him not by their works and He will not be being Judged in Whom your faith is secure.

What is spoken of occurring at the Great White Throne of Judgment is books being opened and judgment according to men’s works.

Young's Literal Translation
Rev 20:12 and I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and scrolls were opened, and another scroll was opened, which is that of the life, and the dead were judged out of the things written in the scrolls -- according to their works;
20:13 and the sea did give up those dead in it, and the death and the hades did give up the dead in them, and they were judged, each one according to their works;
20:14 and the death and the hades were cast to the lake of the fire -- this is the second death;

Alamo_Girl just happened to have posted the following two verses on another thread which make the point of whom you are in Christ thus why you will not stand before the Great White Throne of Judgment:

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. – Gal 2:20

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. – Col 3:3

Where do you get this stuff their are people in the Church who are members but their spouse is not.
