You shall know them by their fruit.

I love the 10 or so scriptures most Catholics know :) That is almost as good as "judge not lest ye be judged"

Ah, yes. Anybody who has read Moonfleet would remember this.

There's some evidence that your posts are nothing but obnoxious.

It seems reasonable that one language can have a greater effect than another, namely Latin over English. I would think that American English being more effective that Eubonics English even if both use the name of Jesus.
.

Why is it "reasonable"? Where do you find grounds to believe spirits care what language one speaks, does God?

Is the name of Jesus spoken in English less powerful than when spoken in Latin?

The problem is Catholicism is a faith with much of its doctrine built on the speculation of men and what sounds "reasonable" or "likely " without a foundation in the word of God

I should have used the word denigrate rather than popular phrasing for you to understand my meaning.

The criticism against the church that I heard from Protestants was just that, not preaching any sort of truth. As for those “truths”, they were always rumors based in ignorance.

So, why did you start out on this thread by laughing instead of preaching some truth?

Because it is ridiculous on the face of it and without any foundational scriptural truth .

"I have read a couple of Father Gabriele Amorth’s books....I had NO idea he was in his 80s."

I've read nothing of Amorth's, but have read most of Malachi Martin's books. In that context, I'm quite surprised at Amorth's age as Martin frequently commented on the physical toll most exorcists undergo, and how few of them rarely have a full life expectancy as a result...

Amen.

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" -- Romans 10:13-15

There is nothing more simple, more clear than the Gospel of Jesus Christ, regardless of how many obstacles men and magisteriums put in the path of the truth.

"Be not afraid; only believe." -- Mark 5:36

Satan originally was an angel created by God. He rebelled against God and was thus cast out of Heaven into eternal darkness.
