Not only has some of the most greatest artwork been divinely inspired - think DaVinci and Michaelangelo - but some of the greatest classical music as well.
As for icons, I love going to the old missions and seeing the amount of icons they either made or managed to lug over centuries ago from europe. :o)

They were written by Charles Rohrbacher, of Juneau, AK. So lovely...
