For a lively discussion. All prevalent in the secular world of today!
Brings one to his or her knees, doesn't it?

Yes, that is true, because we are all sinners. But do we really try to avoid these sins?

Bad thread to pontificate about ones self I see! :-)
Well, God didn't make any junk to start with, but our choices can lead us to problems.
We are human and suffer all kinds of sin nature, so we thank God the Father for Jesus who I and others should rely on for our salvation.

Why blame the devil on this one? Paule tells us:
Gal 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

I tried to avoid these Seven Dealy Sins, tried real hard. :)

I believe that people act the way they are designed...after people were here, these sins were created, to explain behavior and to help maintain some semblance of order in society.

I think we can tell St. Paul a big "thank you" for including all these in his letter to the Galatians! Maybe these words will resounds with others to whom the words "Seven Deadly Sins" sound horrific.
I don't think you are saying that the devil does NOT have a part in these sins, are you? Or are you merely saying that it is the weakness of the human will and origial sin that cause one to sin in these ways?

I beleive that John and Paul said it correctly:
I Jn 2:16
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Gal 5:16
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
Both Adam and Eve tried to blame everyone but themselves.
