Episcopal Churches in Arkansas Get Green Light To Perform Same Sex Marriage Ceremonies

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas sent out letters to the members of the congregation letting them know the church will now be performing same sex marriages.
Although same sex marriages are not legal in the state of Arkansas, all of the Episcopal churches in the state have been given the green light to perform ceremonies for same sex couples. Only two churches have come forward to offer the service and St. Paul's is one of them. Although the church went through an eight month process before making the decision, there has been plenty of backlash from parishioners.
Church officials say while some have regrettably left the church, others are joining.
In addition, financial giving has increased.
Didn't blink an eye either.
Those ol'boys got a nasty problem.
So now they can marry either their sister, or their brother?
< Texans reserve the right to hurl insults at Oklahoma and Arkansas for any, or no reason at all, y'all>
It is just as impossible for a human to marry someone of the same sex as it is for a human to marry an animal or a tree stump.
Of course someone who accepts the corrupted meaning of gay might also accept the corrupted meaning of marry or marriage.
sigh.........
Because it's profanation, that's why.
Can you wrap your brain around that, troll?
That is not a church, it's a political organization, and surprise of surprises, it is in a college town.
My sense of the language is that one cannot "marry" two similar things together. One can only "marry" dissimilar things.
That's why it will never be linguistically possible to have a same sex marriage.
One can also not have a same sex "marriage" that "joins together." Without the possibility of procreation being present, there can only be a penetration...but never a joining.
So, the Arkansas dEspicopals might as well create a little ceremony for all kinds of things, because that's all they're doing. Let's have an "I brushed my teeth today" ceremony. How about a "Zeus loves All My Children" ceremony?
