Freeper, Salvation, has just returned from a whirlwind tour of christian sites in the East. While I can only speak for myself, I am sure there are others who would like to learn more about where she traveled, as well as her experiences. While getting herself re-aclamated to US time, let's all welcome Salvation back home and to the FreeRepublic Forum. We are all indebted to you, Salvation, for your daily Mass Reading posts and the lives of the saints.
Please post your messages to this thread and let's hope Salvation will post her exciting experience to the forum.
Welcome Home!
Wow! I just noted that I finished this travelogue a year ago today. I will post some highlights to Pyro’s thread about St. Maximillian Kolbe today.
What a great thread! I would never have seen it except for your link on the St. Kolbe thread, and I thank you.
Everyone who visits Europe needs to visit the Chech Republic and Poland.
Czech Republic — Infant of Prague — amazing. Also Our Lady of Chestohowa. What a story that is!
Auschwitz, Neopokalanow and Wadowice (John Paul II’s hometown) were great.
I just found this fantastic panorama of Our Lady of Victory in Prague. You will see the Infant of Prague as the picture rotates. It was so beautiful to be in this church, and if I remember correctly, I also lectored that day.
