God's Table Requires Table Manners (Author Unknown)
You undoubtedly felt awkward the first time you had to learn which fork to use.
But with that knowledge you can enter any dining experience with confidence. The same is true when you dine at God's table. At first it seems difficult. But learning the right manners makes it possible for you to be in any situation and please the Father.
Table manners at God's table:
1.You have to do your own chewing. Too many Christians expect God to take out a spoon and dish up the blessing for them. He is supposed to place it in our mouths, work our jaws to chew it up, and help us swallow it. We want God to do everything.
The fact is that you have responsibility in God's sovereign world.

Prayers for the repose of the soul of Tonya. May the Lord comfort her son, her family and her friends. Sounds like she was a Good Samaritan sort of person!

Indeed we do! I'm ashamed to say that I find myself playing the part of the Pharisee more often than I'd like.

Yes, it is a shock for anyone to hear about someone who has passed away at the age of 29, or at such a young age.
Prayers for the repose of her soul.
May Our Lord Jesus Christ and his Holy Mother Mary comfort all members of her family, specially the little ones.

Heavenly Father, I join with my FReeper family in prayer for Tonya's beloved son as his heart breaks over the loss of his mother. Gather around the family and friends in comfort, O God, for sudden is their grief. Carry them through the days ahead, Merciful Father ... bring to this family the very people who are needed to walk with them along this painful path. May Your Words sustain them ... may Your Promises uplift them ... may they be mindful that Joyous Reunion awaits.
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...

I join in prayer for all those dealing with Tonya's homegoing - may God bless them with His peace and guidance.
To: BearWash
Lord, in your mercy, welcome Tonya to your kingdom. You have freed her from her earthly suffering. Please watch over her son Jordan and help guide him in your way so that he will see his mother again. Amen

Tonya and her family are in my prayers today.
To: GreenHornet
Thanks to all. She also had an older son who lived here in town with his grandparents.
A bit from her obit (the full obituary is on the net but I decided to edit out the last name and city):
Tonya Lynn ---- passed away May 31, 2006 at the home of her parents. She is finally at peace after a lifetime of severe medical trials.
Tonya was born in -----, WA on July 20, 1976. She attended schools in Idaho and Ohio. She enjoyed playing in the community sports programs, bowling, swimming and dancing. In high school she played the flute in the marching band. Tonya truly cared for people less fortunate. She volunteered at the hospital. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life.
