If you ask me, private revelation is the work of demons or at least the work of Sr. Faustina's imagination. I don't believe it's from Christ. Explain to me why Sr. Faustina's diary was suppressed by every pope prior to JP2.

Her diary even was placed on the Index of Prohibited Books.

All revelation ended with the death of the last apostle.

I stand my ground, the Divine Mercy has no place on the Church calendar during Pascha.

At least it's not Divine Mercy Sunday on the Byzantine Calendar. We at least still celebrate Thomas Sunday.

So can we agree to disagree?

BTW, Christ is celebrating his wounds by showing them to the apostles and a week later to Thomas.

We are not obligated to believe in any private revelations.
My understanding is that it was a poor translation (Polish into Italian).

Because Sr. Faustina was all but illiterate, her diary was written phonetically and almost without punctuation and quotation marks. A poor translation reached Rome, which condemned the book as heretical in 1958. When Karol Wojtyla became Archbishop of Krakow, he was faced with a delicate problem -- many people in his Church were intensely devoted to these writings, even calling Faustina a saint. He was advised to start an investigation into the matter. In the course of his study, he had a new translation made, which resulted in the removal of Rome's condemnation of the writings, just six months before he was elected Pope." (copied from ZENIT)

When you die, be sure to tell Jesus Christ himself that is how you feel.
