Anglican Bishop: Eternal Life for all Martyrs of Palestine
By F.R. Baigel
IHC Abstract

According to Riah Abu Asal, Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem and the Middle East, martyrs receive eternal life: “Do not consider those that were killed for the sake of God as dead, but alive with their Lord”.

“Greetings of appreciation to all martyrs that were killed on the Land of Palestine”. These were the words used by Riah Abu Asal, the Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem and the Middle East, in the opening of lecture in Ramallah two weeks ago.

Bishop Abu Asal added that all martyrs receive eternal life and they “live in the Kingdom of Heaven”. He supported that statement by quoting the Koran verse: “Do not consider those that were killed for the sake of God as dead, but alive with their Lord”.

mmmmmmm hmmmmmmm .....

OK, just who is this guy, and who made him a bishop?

And has he been encouraged by the anti-Semites in the Anglican church in England?

Inquiring minds want to know (inquiring minds are not particularly surprised, but still want to know.)

The Anglican church in the middle east needs a new bishop.

They are with their lord, haSatan, the prince of this world who now stands condemed (John 16:11)

I have seen reports of him in the past; this is a bit worse than I recall seeing before.

Is it clear he is talking about the Moslem "shaheed" who blow up innocent Israeli civilians? Is he implicitly doing so with ambiguous words? A Christian martyr is one who is killed by someone else through odium fidei, not someone who kills others. The Islamic definition of "martyr" has no connection with the true definition of a martyr.

The evangelical side of Anglican church is almost as bad as the liberal side on the issue of Israel-Arab conflicts. For instance Stephen Sizer is evangelical vicar at Virginia Waters and he openly calls for the disbandment of the State of Israel and the Jews should scatter around the West.

Even John Stott and N.T. Wright at times have also supported the Arabs' side over Israel.

A look at the map tells the entire story. You've got this gigantic swath of territory called the slammite world which runs from the wall of China to the west coast of Africa and tens of degrees of lattitude up and down, and then a tiny sliver of land called Israel which you have to know precisely where to look for to even find, and slammites have been doing this total temper tantrum over the tiny sliver for the last 60 years. If I were in charge of Israel, I'd probably just establish a $25 bounty on "palestinians". That works on most varmint species.
