The evangelical side of Anglican church is almost as bad as the liberal side on the issue of Israel-Arab conflicts. For instance Stephen Sizer is evangelical vicar at Virginia Waters and he openly calls for the disbandment of the State of Israel and the Jews should scatter around the West.
Even John Stott and N.T. Wright at times have also supported the Arabs' side over Israel.
A look at the map tells the entire story. You've got this gigantic swath of territory called the slammite world which runs from the wall of China to the west coast of Africa and tens of degrees of lattitude up and down, and then a tiny sliver of land called Israel which you have to know precisely where to look for to even find, and slammites have been doing this total temper tantrum over the tiny sliver for the last 60 years.
