Isn't this church associated with the ELCA? I once attended an Easter service at an ELCA church. The sermon was about nature in bloom, and butterflies transformed from caterpillars.

And that was the whole message. No Christ resurrected. No redemption of creation, except in the most metaphorical of ways. On Easter morning, the sermon was about flowers in bloom, butterflies on the wing, and a "fresh start" for all mankind. Oh. and the Easter Bunny made an appearance on the front lawn after the service, IIRC.

If these signs are being done by an ELCA church, they don't surprise me.

It's Just Not That Funny!
Geez, the majority of the 200,000 Protestant churches in America try to have cute little quips to get people's attention. This Longmont church is far, far, far from the funniest.
