Mr. Foxman is a goof. Jews and Christians are not on opposite sides. I wish he would get that. I pray that he will.

It's more than that.

Its the relentless poitierization of sodomites and the contemptuous depiction of Christians in movies and TV. Everyone knows that "Brokeback Mountain" won't make a dime but it will get ecstatic reviews and a ton of Academy Award nominations which it will sweep in the lowest rated Academy Awards broadcast in television history.

Your comments hit the bullseye. They don't even care if they make money on that steaming pile; it's just for propaganda purposes.

Exactly. And you notice the budget was only $13 million. That means Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhal did it practically for free. Hell, $13 million won't even cover the food bill (did everyone brownbag ?)

Like donating their time for a good cause. Blech.

What I don't see is how anyone can "act" homosexual scenes if they aren't one.

There is no question that people of faith are being persecuted. They portray us in the news media, T.V. shows, movies etc. as radicals, right wingers, intolerant, etc.. Left Wing talk radio shows such as Air America, well I can't print here the garbage I have heard coming from them regarding Christians.

It's funny I always read in the mainstream media how muslims and Islam are all about peace, tolerance, etc. but we are the ones who everyone should be afraid of. Just goes to show you what we are up against.

According to the poll, 64% agree with the statement that “it is important that religious symbols like the Ten Commandments be displayed in public buildings such as court houses,” while 32 percent disagree. Again, when the poll focused on fundamentalist / evangelical / charismatic Christians, the number rose to 89%.

***************

Good for the fundamentalists, evangelicals and charismatics. I'm disappointed that Catholics weren't part of the 89%.

With all the trying to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance, take God out of the coins and money, remove the Ten Commandments from public buildings, change the words in Christmas carols, heck, even try to obliterate the word, Christmas,,,,,,,and on and on and on

The secular peoples of the world are definitely trying to take Christ out of Christ and out of the world. We will be persecuted, and I think we need to study the saints and get ready to die with Christ on our lips.

In the words of Blessed Miguel Pro, "Viva Cristo Rey!" "Long live Christ the King!"

Another thing is that the general public has a skewed opinion of the separation of church and state. No separation was ever intended in the Constitution, but a state sponsored church such as they had experienced in England was what the founding fathers DIDN'T want!
