May God hold them all tightly in His loving hands.
Prayers up!
I lift Dennis and his family to our Father in healing prayer.
Prayers going out for Dennis' healing and for his family to be strong.
Oh my God! Five young children.
Prayers being said this very minute.
I've heard good things about the chances for cure when caught early. Praying for Dennis, and your whole family.
God bless.

She has answered our familiy's prayers for help with a cancer diagnosis -
believe and pray.
Thanks so much to all of you for your prayers. There truly is power in prayer to our Heavenly Father when we pray to Him in Jesus' Name.
My sister and brother-in-law report that they can feel the prayers of the many praying for them. They are experiencing God's grace and peace through all of this. After the initial shock their children are also settling into the new routine and are doing well, considering all that's been thrown into their lives right now.
Dennis has now gone through his first round of chemo and is doing well. So far he hasn't experienced the extreme weakness and fatigue that often accompanies such treatment, and we're praying that continues.
Pray also that the chemo effectively kills the cancer without harming his health otherwise.
Thanks again to all the FR prayer warriors who so willingly pray for people they don't know. Your prayers are being answered.
This is a ping to update all of you who posted prayers regarding my BIL, Dennis, and also to ask for additional prayers.
He has come through his first round of treatments in the hospital (one month as of Wednesday) and is waiting to be able to go home again. There's only one thing holding them back from releasing him at this point and that is his white blood count. Please pray that they will come up as they should and that he'll soon be able to be home again. He and his family are both anxious for that to happen soon. :)
Also, continue to pray for my sister and their children. There's a lot on my sister's shoulders right now, and I'm proud of her for being so strong during all of this. She readily admits, though, that it is because of the Lord and all the prayers going up for her. The children are also doing well, but they have a lot to deal with themselves and my prayer is that the Lord will carry them through this time and help them to understand and also use it to prepare them for what He has for them in the future.
May God richly bless all of you for taking the time to pray for someone you don't know.
I'll say a prayer for him.

DEnnis and his family remain in my prayers.
I'll put Dennis and his family on our Parish Prayer list for next weekend's bulletin so that our folks can pray for his healing of this disease.
Amen.
PS. Keep us informed.
Lord,
you are our healer.
Be with this father
as he faces this crisis.
Strengthen his heart, body, soul,
as he goes under therapy,
Help those loved ones who watch over him in worry and fear,
and give them strength.
Guide the doctors and medicals staff,
Be the light he needs each step of the way,
and if it is your will, bring him full healing of body.
This we ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Prayers lifted for Dennis, his wife and family, and extended loved-ones.
May God be ever-present in that situation ... and bless with His healing power.
Another update about Dennis, and request for continued prayers. I apologize for not updating this sooner.
Our prayers were indeed answered and his white blood count came up sufficiently for him to be relased from the hospital, and he's spent the last couple weeks at home. He's been feeling really good and his blood counts have been excellent. His last bone marrow draw showed no leukemia cells, and we praise God for that.
This week he is undergoing his second round of chemotherapy, this time as outpatient.
Please pray that this treatment will be effective in keeping Dennis in remission, and that the Lord will keep him in good health as his blood count drops again (pray for protection against infections, etc.). Also pray that the chemo will not have permanent ill effects on his health.
Thanks so much again for praying ... it's awesome to see God's hand at work and to see His answers to the prayers of so many. Blessings to you all for your faithfulness.
