This is probably the first time I have ever linked to something like this--but this is an online denominational selector quiz that purports to help the user discern which Christian traditions most accord with his or her beliefs. As the quiz designer says, "Many of these are vast oversimplifications, and it is very hard to set options when there are often many differing views even within certain denominations." Therefore this quiz is hardly infallible, but I do think it is one of the better ones I've seen online. Try it out and see where you come out in its analysis.
My own rankings are:
Rank Item Percent
1: Eastern Orthodox (100%)
2: Anglican/Episcopal/Church of England (95%)
3: Presbyterian/Reformed (95%)
4: Lutheran (79%)
5: Roman Catholic (79%)
6: Congregational/United Church of Christ (72%)
7: Baptist (Reformed/Particular/Calvinistic) (64%)
8: Church of Christ/Campbellite (40%)
9: Baptist (non-Calvinistic)/Plymouth Brethren/Fundamentalist (29%)
10: Seventh-Day Adventist (22%)
11: Methodist/Wesleyan/Nazarene (20%)
12: Pentecostal/Charismatic/Assemblies of God (20%)
13: Anabaptist (Mennonite/Quaker etc.) (14%)
While I am a bit puzzled as to the Eastern Orthodox score, I think for the most part these rankings are reasonably accurate for me. I think that in all probability the Eastern Orthodox score was so high at least in part due to the question on church government, and the question on Scripture and Tradition.
Fun ping.
Ho Ho! See what happens to Episcopalian PKs when they start hanging around with swarthy SE European types!
I made 100% EO; 97% Lutheran (!); 95% Roman Catholic and 89% Anglican. I'm surprised at the Lutheran score.

Hardly any surprises here. I am slightly concerned at Presbyterian getting 65%.
There were a few questions where I didn't really like any of the answers - for example on the question about Sunday morning worship I had to answer:
"A formal, liturgical service with a roughly equal amount of time dedicated to the sermon and to the other elements, usually or always including communion."
Whereas I would much rather have put:
"a formal, liturgical service, the sermon being shorter than other part; of necessity including the Holy Eucharist/Mass".

I had that problem too.

Some false choices (e.g., neither was exact, but one was less so than the other, so I picked that one).
Yeah, but Lutheran???? I shudder at the implications!!!!
Hmmmm. Perhaps you are an undercover reformist!?!? Somehow I doubt it. What I found most interesting about the quiz was that I could easily slew my answers to target whatever denomination I intended as my final selection. I took it the first time cold. Then took it a few more times with a specific denomination in mind. I could nail it almost every time.

Ah, well you see that's because you're a sohisticated and theologically and liturgically informed "'Murican" while I, alas, am a simple old Balkan Mountain Bandit. :)
LOL!
Neat test. Although I am not suprised in the least.

K--
Your score and mine were very close. I had the same order--EO, Lutheran, RC, Anglican. I'm only 85% Anglican. Then again, I'm only 12% Seventh Day Adventist. Wonder which 12% that is?

By taking this, I have way too much time on my hands on a Saturday afternoon...
