"And Eastern Orthodox was a challenge because I couldn't find the word "filique" anywhere."

That's 'cause its spelled "filioque"! :) Kinda like sophisticated isn't spelled "sohisticated" (but I have an excuse, if you believe that)!

That explains it then. I guess if I don't even have that good a grasp on English, Latin is a pipe dream, and Greek....forget about it.

Did you look at the quiz? Out of 16 questions, I could only reasonably answer 10, having to choose "not sure" and low priority for the remaining six. It is too bad that the author of the quiz included Presbyterian/Reformed as an option for a denomination because the choices did not present correct doctrine as taught by Presbyterian/Reformed confessions as a choice. It skewed the results.

My favorite question was about moderate drinking and dancing. A high priority for me!

I'm still 100% Baptist, but that's okay. I was never concerned about class or social rankings.:)

It is too bad that the author of the quiz included Presbyterian/Reformed as an option for a denomination because the choices did not present correct doctrine as taught by Presbyterian/Reformed confessions as a choice.

While some of the questions did not perfectly set out the doctrine, the 'Presbyterian' choice was obvious for all.

Yes, if by obvious choice is meant what everyone else thinks a Prebyterian believes and we know what they think so that's the answer we should choose. Goofy, but true.

No, I mean obvious choice as based on what is taught in the Westminster standards. The Sabbath, AMil, Infant Baptism (that one did need some work, but the 'Presbyterian' choice was easy), Spiritual presence in the elements, Presbyterian form of government, predestination, the covenant. Which ones did you think did not have a good Presbyterian option available?

I'm pausing in my moderate dancing to respond and say "Hi, Suzy!" 8~)

I agree. The questions certainly didn't portray Presbyterian/Reformed correctly.

The baptism question was unanswerable, and the "correct" answer to #3 for a Presbyterian is wrong -- "God predestines all things, and elects some people to salvation while actively reprobating others and sending them to Hell (in a manner consistent with second causes, namely their free will)."

"Reprobating others???"

"free will second causes???"

Someone needs to spend more time on the FR religion forum. 8~)

Well I tested 100% Roman Catholic. I wonder if I can get a T Shirt with that motto? I forgot to save the whole ranking. But I seem to recall the next batch was Eastern Orthodoxy and Anglican at about 70%. So RC pulled way ahead of the pack for me. Good thing too, since I am Catholic. Could have saved all that time in Confirmation class if the selector had been handy then.
