That's 'cause its spelled "filioque"! :) Kinda like sophisticated isn't spelled "sohisticated" (but I have an excuse, if you believe that)!
That explains it then. I guess if I don't even have that good a grasp on English, Latin is a pipe dream, and Greek....forget about it.
