I know many here pray daily for all our soldiers and their families. As a mom of a WP grad, class of '90, I am hoping that special prayers will be added for Daniel and his family

I do not know, xjones. I just got the email from my son last night. He heard about it through his local WP society. All I know is what I found in the journal being posted on the website, detailing the medical battle that is going on to save him.

Forgive me, I looked at dates and Cpt. Gage was injured on 1/10/05. The Cpt. I was thinking of had a prayer thread going for him in December. God bless and sustain both of them and their families.

That his kidneys will increase in function.
That his body will grow stronger. He has really not been able to move in more than two weeks.

Almighty God, we pray for Cpt Daniel Gade. We acknowledge your concern for him, Lord Jesus, because you mention concern over even the sparrows. We trust your loving decisions on Cpt Gade's behalf. We pray for all those who will be ministering healing to his body that you would increase their skills beyond their own abilities.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the elections in Iraq that you would make them fruitful unto the creation of a free society. To that end we pray for the soon finalization of the hunt for bin Laden and al Zarqawi.

My prayers and gratitude for these brave men and women, especially Capt. Gade. God bless them and keep them strong in mind, body, and soul. May the healing be swift and sure.

I sincerely hope that the elections go off smoothly enough, as an honor for the bravery and service of our troops, as well as the success of our operations in Iraq and a move to some normalcy for the Iraqi people.
