Antichrist (you read it right) will be peace and prosperity on Earth

Bible character's rise to power is nothing to fear, says expert

GOOD NEWS! Contrary to popular belief, the Antichrist dreaded by so many Christians will actually usher in a new era of peace and prosperity, a maverick theologian contends. "The Antichrist's rise to power is nothing to fear," declares Bible scholar Jon Hornsworth of Atlanta. "He will be a unifying figure whose sound policies revitalize the global economy and put an end to international conflict."

Most people familiar with End Times prophecies in the Book of Revelation assume the Antichrist will be an evil dictator. But that's dead wrong, the expert says. "Nowhere in the Bible is the word 'evil' used to describe the Antichrist," Hornsworth notes. "For that matter, 'Antichrist' isn't in there either -- the Bible calls him the Beast. That suggests a being like the one in the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast -- fearsome and misunderstood, but ultimately turning out to have a heart of gold. "I anticipate a figure like Julius Caesar -- a strong but fair leader. He'll impose stability over much of the world."

"Under his rule, we can expect to see expanded free trade, translating into job growth and an improved standard of living for Americans." As for the Antichrist's scary reputation, Hollywood shares much of the blame, Hornsworth points out. "You have movies like The Omen where the Antichrist is depicted as a creepy brat who murders people. Nothing like that is in the Good Book."

One of the most unsettling Antichrist prophecies concerns the Mark of the Beast. "He causes, all both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead," the Bible states, adding that only those with the mark will be able to buy or sell. (Rev. 13: 16-17). Many modern Bible scholars believe this "mark" refers not to a physical brand but rather to an implantable microchip. Hornsworth agrees -- but argues that will be a good thing. "These chips will allow citizens to withdraw money from the bank, to purchase groceries and make other financial transactions without using cash," he explains. "Imagine the convenience and efficiency of that. Also, when scanned, your ID chip will provide 100 percent proof of who you are -- making identity theft a thing of the past. "The technology will also be used at security checkpoints, helping to defeat global terrorism."

Hornsworth has failed to convert many colleagues to the view that the Antichrist is a good guy. Says a skeptical Methodist minister: "I suppose next he's going to tell us that the Whore of Babylon won't be 'easy.' "

2 Thes 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, thatthey might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie ... Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The New Age sets up a scenario of miracles, earth changes, and aid from enlightened beings. The Bible warns us that there will be many signs preceding the arrival of anti-christ, but also tells us few will escape the deception of the end times

I saw a video the other night, concerning angels and demons and UFO's.

The premise is that the so-called aliens are actually the remnants of the rebel angels.
The end of the tape had a minister discussing the signs Christ gave His disciples.
Christ pinpointed a specific time in history to compare to the time of His return.
"It shall be as in the time of Noah".
What was happening in the time of Noah, that is happening now? One specific "thing", common to both ages.
I've been searching for that one specific item for a long time.
The answer is spelled out in the Book of Enoch.
Which explains why it was left out of the Old Testament to begin with.

Actually for 3.5 years, the Antichrist's reign will probably be pretty phenomenal. Peace, prosperity, joyful times for all.

After that, things start getting pretty icky. The "mark" becomes mandatory. Mandatory meaning, if you don't have it and if you refuse to take it, you're liable to have your head lopped off.

Of course if you do take, things are even worse for you.

Pretty much gonna suck for a lot of people.

But then this gets into a lot of different theologies and there's enough of those posts on Free Republic already.

Having done a good deal of business writing for Sapporo Breweries, I've toyed with the idea that they *are* the anti-Christ. What a bunch of schmucks.

I assume you are alluding to the Nephilim?

BTW. While I was working in New Mexico, I ran across this place in Roswell.

While I think part of his speal is pretty nuts, I have no problem believing that what many people attribute to aliens COULD be demons.

No, actually, the angels themselves. The Nephiliim are the offspring of the Rebel Angels. The Fallen. The Watchers. The ones God directed to watch over man, instead of interacting with him.

Thats a neat website, BTW. I had not seen that one. Kinda cluttered and busy in appearence, but otherwise, worth an extended look.

They are used to buy and sell since they are a legitimate medium of exchange.

The anti-Christ will perform many great signs that includes uniting the world and solving its many problems, according to the Holy Bible. And 2/3rds of the world's population will fall for it-and be destroyed by God's wrath for following the devil's decrees, much like what liberals would do now who don't take an issue to the next level and seemingly agree to what the media feeds their minds as facts. It's a kind of handicap on the way the mind works, that unless something catastrophic happens, the liberals don't believe what moderates or conservatives have already been seeing- that we are being attacked from the inside-out.

One's being denied the right to buy or sell because of a prior implantation of a micro-chip has nothing to do with salvation. The economic issue of buying and selling as well as religious issues will be determined, by the church/state controlled by Mother Babylon the Mother of Harlots (Rev 17:3 ".. woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, .. " & Rev. 17:5) as the result of one's either choosing to receive or deny the Mark of the Beast (WORSHIP - Rev. 14:9-11; 16:2) . The Mark of the Beast relates to salvation not to economics. Notice In Rev 16:2 that the ones who will receive YHWH's wrath are the ones who WORSHIP the Beast and his image. A micro-chip has nothing to do with worship, nor does the number 666. The Mark of the Beast is Satan's counterfeit of YHWH's true and symbolic Mark in the hand or the forehead (Deut 6:6-8 ; God's commandments). Due to this being a public forum, I don't want to abuse the system so I will end it here. For a much deeper and well documented study, contact me on a "private reply".

YHWH Bless You in your search for the TRUTH

it does if it can gage, whether you are doing your worship duty by keeping records on when, where and if you are reporting if you scan in...the way it can hold your personal and health information and conduct real time transactions.
