Enough is enough. Please see website www.maydayformarriage.com.
The only way Life can be created and protected is through the union of one man and one woman.
Make a stand for the eternal institution of traditional marriage. "If not you, then who?"
We need a Constitutional amendment to protect this institution.
Attempting to redefine marriage, through the courts, is a violation of the human and civil rights of children. Children deserve the ideal. They need the input of both a male and female parent in order to reach their full potential.
To legislate otherwise, to codify otherwise, creates a second-class group of humans who are deprived of their full rights and privileges as citizens from the outset.
Is it constitutional, by allowing a re-definition of marriage, to create a second-class set of citizens?
Divorce law gives us a vast body of case law that articulates a different form of the re-definition of family. Divorce law tells us that the best interests of children are pre-eminent when re-defining the family.
It tells us that adult needs are secondary to the best interests of the the children.
The rule of law is to codify the ideal.
Therefore, the argument that adults are entitled to express their needs at the expense of children's needs is not consistent with the vast body of law currently present in our judiciary system.
This concept is most obvious when considering a homosexual couple's intent to artificially or surrogately conceive a child with the EXPRESS intent of depriving that child of its natural right to have both a male and female parent.
Anything less is a compromised half-measure, not by the random circumstance of Life, but by intent to deprive.
Where are the defenders of childen's rights?
