Prayers Needed for a Friend

Hi to everyone from Jeanne-inundated Atlanta!

While the generator and the DSL are still working, I'd like to ask for your prayers for a friend. She's the Youth Minister at our parish, and she's been very, very kind to my children as we made the transition from ECUSA to the Catholic Faith. My daughter went on a youth retreat that she led, and thinks she is just wonderful (I think so too.) She is leading the confirmation class that my daughter has just started.

Anyhow, she wasn't in church on Sunday for the confirmands' presentation, and it turned out she spent most of the day in the emergency room. She Emailed us to let us know that she has gallbladder disease and the gallbladder has to come out. She is due to go into surgery Friday morning. Of course she's faithful and trusting in the Lord, but she asked us all to pray for a good outcome and that she can continue to trust in His mercy.

I've seen such wonderful prayers from our FReeper Prayer Warriors, I'd like to ask you please to offer your prayers for this faithful lady's healing. Her name is Heather.

May Your healing touch be upon her as she goes into surgery ... guide the hands of her surgeons that the procedure would be simple and sure. Give wisdom to her caregivers that they might assist in a remarkably quick recovery. Encourage her heart and the hearts of those who pray ... cause Heather, and us, to "be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
