11 Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, F73
that ye love the LORD your God.
12 Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations,
even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: 13 Know for a certainty
that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you;
but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes,
until ye perish from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. 14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof. 15 Therefore it shall come to pass,
that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you;
so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things,
until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you,
and have gone and served other gods,
and bowed yourselves to them;
then shall the anger of the LORD be kindled against you,
and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you.

We ignore the laws of God, polute His Sabbaths, and we wonder why we have the problems of today. Didn't He tell us " I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror " in Leviticus 26:16 ?
Weren't we told in Deuteronomy 28:20 what would become of us for all the wickedness we do by forsaking GOD? We have been warned!!!!
Yes, we have been warned. But have done little. 40 million dead children in the last 30 years due to abortion, makes the current horror in Beslan, Russia look tame by comparison.
It is the same as always, my heart bleeds, my heart bleeds, my heart bleeds... what more?
YUP!
An example (I'm a student and I could be wrong):
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 41 He shall enter also into the glorious F88 land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps. 44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. 45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious F89 holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
Daniel 12
1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise F90 shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Verse 40 "At the time of the end" ...Isn't this the time just before Christ returns? Notice verse 1 of chapter 12... the resurrection.
. Daniel 11:40 ... "push at"... I see the Sep 11, 2004 World Trade Center as a 'push at' situation. And didn't we "come against him' with almost everything we had?
Look at all the countries we're going into and compare it with verse 41 thru verse 43.
The question is in verse 44... what tidings will trouble us, perhaps 'confirmed nuclear weapons like suit-case bombs' in the hands of terrorist?
But all is NOT well, as we see in verse 45. Who is helping us now, and how long will they remain with us against this religious war?
And notice in verse 4 that the understanding may not be given until the end. Isn't knowledge increasing in leaps with todays' computer assisted study tools?
Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm speaking as a man, a very concerned man.
Be the watchman... and warn your neighbor. Show him how this prophesy is real and applies today.
What exactly is the qualifier in verse 12 that would cause the actions in verse 15? "12 Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:".
How in the world does that still apply to us today? And since when was that not put simply to the Jews of that time period WHO WERE LIVING UNDER THE LAW?? Were you planning on just throwing out the New Testament? If you are such a believer in the law, I do hope you are adhering to everything that was listed under the law, including animal sacrifice.
Romans 3:19-31
19 ¶ Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Colossians 2:10-17
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 ¶ And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Explain the following: Exodus 20:1-17 (and in this order) ; Matthew 22:37-38; Matthew 22:39; Rev 1:8, 11,17; Rev 22:13-14; I John 2:3-4: I John 3:4; John 14:21; Deut 16:1; Deut 5:28-29; John 15:10; Psalms 119:33-35; Psalms 111:10; John 14:15; Lev 23:24 (compare with Rev 8:6); Rev 16:7; Rev 21:3; Prov 7:1-3; Psalms 119:165; II John 1:5-6.
Then if you think you still don't have to obey the commandments (Remember the Sabbath),
then read
To "cleave unto' is to pick up their customs and respect their gods. This makes our Heavenly Father and His Son, our LORD very jealous and very angry. He didn't want our minds polluted with 'other gods' and for us to go a whoring after customs that only lead to death and death of the second kind.
All who adapt to Abraham are spiritually part of Israel. Remember Genesis 48:1-22 and know that the United States is in the Manasseh tripe and that Great Britain is in Ephraim.
Please read EUROPE and AMERICA in Prophecy .
I was listening to Matt Drudge's radio show last night. He had some liberal on there as a replacement since he was on vacation. (Why a liberal? I don't know. I guess it was more important that the guy was Jewish.) The temporary host said he believes in same sex marriage, abortion, stem cell research etc. He also said he believes it is his right to have sex with a goat if he chooses and that the government has no right to come in to his bedroom and tell him he can't. Then he finished it off by mentioning some of Bush's people. He said that these people really have sexual hangups! I told my wife maybe we should consider that move to Malta.
It's because liberals don't understand the concept of "anything goes". When society excepts it as the norm you have chaos.
I think the author was referring to the general precept, found in both testaments, that general punishment follows when people reject God's commands.
Homosexuality, for instance, is not only a sin (old testament) but a punishment (new testament).
Should be
Should be
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
I see our current problems very much in Old Testament terms. The story of the Jewish people as related in this part of the Bible is essentially one of their continual wandering from and coming back to God and His law. As punishment for their sins, they were periodically given over to marauding, barbaric pagans and attackers who inflicted all manner of indignities on them, drove them into exile and captivity and plundered their cities.
I see the current rise of radical Islam very much in these terms. A newly pagan and godless west which flouts God's laws, has been placed at the mercy of these invading barbarians. Nukes and bullets by themselves will not free us of this scourge, contrary to popular opinion on these boards.
Do we perhaps vainly believe that God will bestow upon us the gift of living in peace while we continue to terrorize the unborn? Can we beg God for his aid when our hands are covered in the blood of our brothers?
This is a spiritual issue and we will learn this lesson one way or another.
It all comes back to "obeying" GOD. We put up with the unthinkable, because of political correctness. It's time to speak up, and point out these facts... that there are punishments for our actions.
Even our forgiveness is prophesied, if we'll do what the Bible says we'll do.
