Each pope is Peter’s successor, Christ’s vicar on earth. Each pope was ordained by someone who was ordained by someone who was ordained by someone who was personally ordained by Jesus of Nazareth. The pope, when teaching on faith and morals, is directly guided by Jesus through the Holy Spirit. The powerful evidence is that we have had 264 popes over the past two thousand years; not one has ever reversed a predecessor on faith and morals

Thought you might find this informative.

Marty Barrack is a Jewish convert. You can read his fascinating faith journey at this link:

Angels are above man.

1 Cor 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels?

Marty, Marty, Marty. As a biblical Christian devoted to the scriptures and the truth inherent therein, I marvel that the Catholic church has abandoned Christianity and fallen to the level of superstition and foolish fables and heresies, the first pope was not Peter and the scriptures never made Catholicism the means of salvation ( by grace through faith are you saved and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,not of works, lest any man should boast, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God hath ordained that we should walk in them). Mary is not an intercessor between God and man (there is one intercessor between God and man, the man Christ Jesus) . Please understand me and hear me on this, the Church is the people who have come to know Jesus Christ on a personal basis through grace by faith in the finished work of Calvary , that is we are saved by believing how that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose on the third day for our justification and to trust our miserable good works does not honor or give salvation to mankind( ye who desire to be saved by works are fallen from grace), the blood of Christ is the only salvation and the faith of his work at Calvary is the only way to obtain salvation (who is he that over cometh but he that believes that Jesus is the son of God. We are all miserable sinners by birth because we are children of the first man Adam and condemned by his fall. This is what the scripture teaches. Christ is God the Word who became flesh and came as the Messiah for Israel and also for the Gentiles. At least half of what you talk about is not in the scriptures and is but man's traditions and have turned God's laws into mans laws. Also, the woman of relation is not the Church but rather is Israel out of whom Jesus Christ came. The apparent Marion revelations you speak about are but tales and fables and are not authenticated by the scriptures.
Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have life and they are they which speak of Jesus.

Uhm, I meant the book of Revelation.

As a biblical Christian devoted to the scriptures and the truth inherent therein.... Please understand me and hear me on this...

Before I forget, it is Truth, with a capital 't'.  With all due respect to your self-proclaimed 'title' wgeorge, you're ignoring a part of Truth, and that is that Jesus never commanded that the Apostles write anything down, nor did He do so himself.  He called us TO DO... proof enough that Sacred Tradition matters.
If your mission is to evangelize -- apparently -- against the one, holy, catholic, apostolic Church -- perhaps you'd do well to KNOW ABOUT that which you speak against.  I'd recommend your reading start here, Catechism of the Catholic Church - Table of Contents, and NOT Jack Chick.  If you do not want the FACTS to get in the way of a 'good argument', you can carry on with your own personal interpretation of 'things'.

Good morning! It's a great day to be a Catholic. :)

Good morning... ALWAYS a great day to be Catholic!!Great post sandyeggo.  Funny thing it is when YOPIOS lovers don't seem to read the whole Truth, isn't it?  Our spiritual food just so happens to come from another 'oversight' in John 6:35-68... literally Christ himself!  THE reason for all good.  Siochan agus maitheas!

**We have reversed their priorities; now U.S. Catholics give about 2 percent of their income to the Church and 40 percent to government.**

A truth, unplleasant to contemplate.

It took me a long time to come closer to this realization of the Church Militant, but it is of life everlasting or death everlasting importance.

I am nodding with absolute agreement and as you know, an understanding.  Father Corapi's EWTN episodes close with something like that [paraphrase]  '...in the end, it's a matter of heaven or hell, forever'.  Reality.

I'll catchya later!

As I said before, Catholics, double your rosaries. At the very least, offer one up per day and unite it to the U.S. Rosary Crusade.

Thankyou.
