Possible Support of Therapeutic Cloning in Texas.
Texas Medical Association ^ | 4/20/2004 | Texas Medical Association

The above is a link (page is copyrighted) to a proposed policy of support for therapeutic cloning (cloning with the intention of destroying the cloned individuals by harvesting or through research methods). I already refuse to join the American Medical Association because of their support for abortion and cloining. It appears I may have to leave the Texas Medical Association as well. They will be discussing this proposal at their annual meeting in Austin (May 13 to 15). I have clinical responsiblities I can't break, but have written a letter which is to be distributed to the committee members. If anyone knows prolife physicians in Texas who would be willing to respectfully argue against this report, please pass along this information.
