"Why aren't we all doing this?"

Abortion will end when the church of Jesus Christ wants it to end.
Harsh? Sure, but in Bridgeport, like all cities, we have hundreds of churches and only 20 people come out on Killing Days to pray and intercede for the mommies and their babies.
If even just a thousand showed up on the sidewalk, the abortuary would close down.
So, what's wrong with His church on earth that we allow this to continue? Frustrated minds want to know..........

It's easier than you may think. In Philadelphia (and most metropolitan areas) there are two options:

You can go to any abortion mill on a Saturday morning and pray with the folks there. If nobody else is there, just start saying a Rosaary and people will join you.

The other option is to go to a hospital on a Sunday morning after Mass. It's my experience that ALL hospitals (sadly, even the Catholic ones) perform abortions and most are quite open about it. There is usually already a group outside, but if there isn't, go ahead and make a sign. If you don't want to get arrested, keep walking in a circle. I guarantee you there will be people out there with you the next Sunday. Once a protest site has been established, you really don't have to go every week.

If we Christians committed one weekend morning a month...

Take heart. Sometimes a few committed loudmouths can shut a place down. We were able to shut down a clinic in King of Prussia just this last year. On any given Saturday, there would be anywhere from 5 to 20 protestors. Only on Respect Life Sunday in October we'd get thousands from local Churches for an awe inspiring life chain.

But the zoning board in Lower Merion Township just didn't want to deal with the noise from the handful of pro-lifers anymore. Of course the owner is trying to appeal it all the way up to the Supreme Court, but he really has no leg to stand on.

Hmmmm.

So what are the legalities of protesting an abortuary? Or praying outside of one? Do you know? I think under klinton some laws were passed that make it more difficult to do so.

Depends on local zoning. In Upper Merion, we had to either stand outside a certain line or if we were on the sidewalk inside boundaries we had to keep moving. Stand still and the police could’ve escorted us out of there.
