How old are you?

I feel incredibly sad for Rush, he was obviously in a lot of pain from back surgury in the late 90's. That's true. He has a lot of courage.
To: dubyaismypresident
When Rush may have gotten effective treatment earlier had we not had our WOD? Sure, it's appropriate.

and severe back pain prevents you from attending golf tournaments, too

Do painkillers help people lose weight too?
I assume that some painkillers, especially morphine based, do help you lose weight, weed on the other hand (munchies) could help you gain weight.

But drug abuse is a bit more than an imperfection. Depends. Is it? What if you found out he was reading literotica.com or looking at Playboys during his lunch break?

Wonderful idea. Would whoever starts it "ping" me, as I don't know how to start a thread or run it.

Why do people assume that people that are in the public eye are perfect?
Real conservatives don't. Real conservatives base their beliefs and views on history and experience ("Experience is the school of mankind, and he will learn at no other." - Edmund Burke). Experience says that no man is perfect.
Come to think of it, real Christians assume that those in the public eye are imperfect. We are all sinners.
Yet, those who are idealists will run around, using the Rush story as yet another example of the hypocrisy of the right and of Christians.
Just proves that it is easier to make sure to not understand someone, than to try to understand someone.

Keep telling yourself that, but it still won't make it true.

Just tell them that Rush was being honest when he said "half my brain tied behind my back, just to make it fair". And he still wooped them;-) LOL
