WOULD YOU NOT TARRY WITH ME ONE HOUR?

Posted on 10/09/2003 3:37:25 PM PDT by PrepareToLeave

I'm not sure how long it will take me to get to Clearwater, but God willing I'll be at The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL sometime Saturday morning to pray. Just one to stand with me for God and Terri and we'd have the agreement we need for a "mighty intervention". Listen.....do you hear a call?

I misread the post and thought that a FL hospital was micromanaging prayer. It is the hospice chapel doing this. What else is there to pray about at this hospice, I would ask? Until Terri's fight, I had no idea that the hospice movement is of such questionable morality. Maybe this is just the case in that Tampa Bay section of FL.

I would gladly accept the title of family member. She needs all of the love and support that she can get.

My mom was at the ER all day and I'm having trouble calling her - line's busy. Preparetoleave is here in Pinellas County and if there are two of us, we aren't going to meet at NOON tomorrow. If we can get more than two people, we will meet at NOON tomorrow across from the Hospice where Terri is. I have to get off the internet and can't do a post. Sorry.

When the arrangements are made to meet and pray ... PLEASE POST THE TIME SO THAT WE CAN BE IN PRAYER WITH YOU ... Hospice may see only two or more of you, but they'll feel the power of many in earnest prayer ...

A lone Freeper driving from Texas to Florida to stand in support for Terri Schiavo is news!

It is also extremely admirable, and truly courageous! I will say a prayer for her and for Terri Schiavo. Please Florida Freepers join this lady and show her how wonderful Freepers can be.

This was a 10/9 WorldNetDaily.com article just posted today, but the info may be of help as you all look for others of like mind --

"The revered Roman Catholic priest who was barred from visiting Terri Schindler-Schiavo when she was hospitalized due to a medical crisis in mid-August is holding an all-night prayer vigil on behalf of the 39-year-old brain-disabled woman, whose death by court-ordered starvation is scheduled to begin in six days.

From 8 p.m. Eastern tonight [my note--this was Thursday!] until 7 a.m. tomorrow, at St. Laurence's Church in Tampa, Fla., Monsignor Thaddeus Malanowski of the Diocese of St. Petersburg. . ."

Have you seen the videos of Terri? An upper-brain death person can not focus or follow with her eyes. The husband and his entourage, from the governor on down have claimed that Terri is PVS (persistent vegetative state). PVS is the state, for now, in which they can legally kill you. See for yourself. Terri is not PVS. She is not even upper-brain dead. http://www.terrisfight.org/lead.htm She is a living, feeling human being. Death by starvation/dehydration is said to be excruciating. A FReeper verified it last night from personal experience with extreme dehydration. This is going on right now alll over America.

Please see the website. Terri's whole story is there. You might also want to check out the unbelievable dirt fellow FReeper pc93 dug up here at #1333: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/986663/posts?q=1&&page=1333

This is how it started out in Nazi Germany. FReeper MarMema reports there is a bill in the UK getting ready to pass where they will allow doctors to kill the mentally defective at will. We are finding out that depopulation is a big New World Order plan being implemented now. Is this the America you want? If not, please check out these links. Only when Americans rise up and scream bloody murder, will it stop.

Please, people. Tell your friends, your families, your enemies, your churches, everyone you can think of. We are running out of time. This could be your loved one.

Read these two stories, one about Terri, and one about the starving of Hugh Finn. If these don't tear your heart out, then just move along. http://www.catholicmediacoalition.com/euthanasia.htm

Governor Jeb Bush -> Executive Office of Governor Fax: 850-488-9810 <- jeb@myflorida.com would like to get your vote.

FLORIDIANS, LOOK UP YOUR DISTRICT and call your local legislator. They're probably in your phone book govt. pages.

IT'S UP TO GOVERNOR BUSH TO CALL AN EMERGENCY SESSION TO GET TERRI AN INDEPENDENT GUARDIAN AD LITEM.

from prepare to leave husband: she is on her way home and wants to thank you all for the much needed prayers.
she decided not to participate in any rally at the hospice hospital. firstly, the patients roam the grounds and i would not want to scare them. they don't need to worry about the care they are receiving.
i was called to pray, not only to stand for Terri, but also, to stand for the Lord, who obviously was not consulated, in this decision, either. God's will be done.

It's those liberal FL judges that have the real power.

The powerful judges have connections with the colleges in Florida, too. They are in a strong position to influence the younger generations.

Former Florida State Supreme Court Chief Justice Gerald Kogan likes physician assisted suicide. He ruled in the landmark Browning case (which Felos was involved in) and now heads the Alliance for Ethical Government in Miami. His offices are at his alma mater, the University of Miami.

Kogan does not see any difference between physician assisted suicide and halting feeding. He has said, "It makes no sense to say there's a difference."

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/986663/posts?page=1837#1837

Nowdays, it seems that the Federal Government will not get involved in the way states handle their issues, but, yet, one state's ruling can be cited in another state. The judges in Florida have the opportunity to determine the way the rest of the states look at chronically ill patients.
