I am not so sure about that. He also posted links how some of the stories fell apart under scrutiny and did provide a link to the story about Davis' physical abuse of those who worked for him.

Who is Al Franken?

What has the Pope done for peace? Since you're fairly young, as you say, you may not be aware that he was instrumental in bringing about the circumstances that caused the fall of the Soviet Union. He was very supportive of Solidarity in Poland, and when folks in the other satellite countries began to see that standing up to the Soviets would actually work, they began to be emboldened.
The Pope and Ronald Reagan acted as a 'tag team' to bring down the Soviets. Folks around the world were shocked that the Russian Bear was defeated as a power so quickly.

Books the numbers are even more drastic. You could literally have 1 in 400 people buy your book and be #1. So, it is very easy to not know anybody who bought a "runaway" best seller. Thanks for the explanation

You said you don't know anyone who has bought Franken's book. If you don't know many liberals, you would not know a lot of people who bought Franken's book.
It wasn't a defense of Franken, and it wasn't an exhortation to make more liberal friends.

We know the NYT's is Liberal; and so we know as well, what they will do, to make a point. . .or a story.
Lie. . .manipulate. . .distort. . .so what are we really supposed to think about this 'news' item.
They are serving their agenda; not the public; not their readers. Well. . .maybe their readers.

Who is Al Franken?
I think he was on Saturday Night Live a long time ago. He's kind of goofy looking? The audience would laugh at his jokes (I think they are required to) but he's not funny, at all. Not sure how a guy gets a gig like that, and I don't want to know.
To: ConservativeMan55
On top? I thought he liked the inferior position.
