This is exactly the kind of talk that won the election for the Republican candidate. I think any Republican would have won, so long as it wasn't another Clinton cronie, look-alike, or act-alike. My theory is that it wasn't the car tax (although surely that played some part in it) or any other policy. I think it was just being fed up with the kind of politics the Clinton crowd always plays. Dems better wise up fast--or better yet, just keep up the good work, guys, and you'll be out of power for decades.

I don't think there is anything more satisfying than watching Democrats asking the question "what went wrong?"
They admit to pooring millions into this recall using their vast liberal resources (Moveon.org, Hollywood, Code Pink, NOW, tc) and they still can't figure out why they lost. They're blaming everyone else (Bush, the voters) except themselves...not even realizing that it is their ideals (or void of) that is losing them election after election around the country. They just can't admit that the people of America are not like them.

The sad fact is that this sort of sick thinking is NOT confined to the slavering cave-dwellers at the Democrat Underground. The hope for maximum deaths that ends this puking was stated by "Fox Contributor Ellen Ratner" on the Cavuto Show with Brenda Buttner sitting in.

Ellen said that she "hoped" that Bush would "mess up in Iraq." Buttner picked up on it, asking, "Hoped?" Given a chance to correct for her death wish for Americans, Rattner replied, that she "wants Bush to be defeated."

Ratner was on live TV. She accidentally stated her true opinions in public. Do not assume that it is just the twisted malcontents of DU who are wishing for American deaths. Note that "mainstream" Democrats like Howard Dean and Teddy Kennedy are beginning to wave the bloody shirt. Though none of them are being quite as direct as this DU statement, or Ratner on Fox News.

When you see Archie put down Walter Cronkite as a pinko (at the time Uncle Walt was the most trused man in America) and see that in fact Cronkite is a pinko.

Archie has his bad points, he was bigoted and such but he was also the most fair and you knew where he stood. Meathead and Gloria on the other hand like most liberals of that generation should became like the Clintons as they grew older.
