Has this woman never been given any rehabilitation in 13 years? And why are the courts denying her this? Much less wanting to starve her to death.
Something just doesn't seem right!

Well, I was wondering that myself. In my looking at the Terri's fight.org website, I could not get a good read on WHY the husband wont' give her any rehab. Who can tell us why?

Wow. Davis recalled, PBA ban passed in the House, and now Gov. Bush steps in. All in one week.

Michael Schiavo says that rehab won't work in Terri's case and that she must be starved and dehydrated so she can "let go" and he can "move on." I think Michael Schiavo has one prime interest in life: Michael Schiavo!

Terri has a chance!!!!!!!
Let's hope she has a chance. There is always the possibility that the judge won't allow the governor's amicus curiae brief to be submitted or like George W. Greer pay no attention to the brief. If the judge, a Clinton appointee, can put partisanship aside, Terri should prevail. It is party politics that could kill her.

It might not be that simple.....I'm thinking that ignoring it on this level would be a very, very big mistake.

A very well constructed and well reasoned argument that makes me wonder why the family attorneys have not argued this issue so clearly. For a layman it appears to be so obvious as to be simple that the FL statutes are the controlling legal authority on this issue.
I am recently removed from the Tampa region and have followed this story closely. Glen Beck also has a great take on this as he was still local in Tampa when this story began.
Go Jeb Go - I can't wait to see which road he takes to Washington.

Hi
The answer is no, Michael Schiavo has not allowed her to have therapy, even though $750,000 of a malpractice settlement is specifically designated as being for Terri's rehabilitation. He hasn't even allowed them to brush her teeth in the last 7 years.
As to why, well, he can't touch the money till after Terri has died. Although we can't 'know' for sure that this is his motivation, all his actions seem to point to this conclusion. Especially since his claims Terri didn't want to 'live like this' didn't come to light till 9 monthes after he won the malpractice suit. Before that, and at the malpractice trial, all he wanted was "bring her home and take care of her for the rest of her life". You can find what he said on Terri's website.
Also, there are x-rays that seem to indicate that Terri was abused, and possibly strangled the night she collapsed. Wouldn't be to good for Michael if Terri learned to talk and was able to tell what exactly happened the night her heart stopped.
And from the way Michael has acted, it wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Please explain what you mean by this post, Rummygirl.

I'm guessing "Judge" Greer is working himself up towards the top of Jeb's 'S' list.
