4 More Women Go Public Against Schwarzenegger By Gary Cohn, Carla Hall, Jack Leonard and Tracy Weber Times Staff Writers
11:30 PM PDT, October 4, 2003
Four more women have come forward to say that Arnold Schwarzenegger fondled, spanked or touched them in incidents they said took place as recently as 2000 and as long ago as 1979.
In all, 15 women have now accused the Republican candidate for governor of grabbing or groping them. On the campaign trail Saturday, Schwarzenegger denounced as a "puke campaign" news reports that he has behaved abusively toward women.

Really??? So when in Rome, do as the Romans do????
Situational ethics = moral relativism = everything wrong with the Dims. As far as Arnold for governor -- what changes when he wins?
How do you know it's not true?
We're talking about anonymous unsubstantiated and uncorroborated accusations. This is the Democrats last minute attempt to stop Arnold from winning. Duh!
I am trying to see your point. All the women seem to have told someone at the time, and those people appear to have been contacted by the LA Times. I don't think anyone was into writing affidavits, but it does appear that Arnold stops just at the verge of something actionable, so firsthand witnesses and affidavits are understandably in short supply. If you are a woman and get hassled once or twice by a guy when you and he happen to be alone, what do you do? These women told their relatives, friends, and in some cases, colleagues or supervisors at the time, if the accounts by named people are true. I concede that it is barely conceivable that all these people were part of some nefarious left wing conspiracy, but by Ockam's Razor, the more likely explanation is the most probable explanation: Arnold is at best a boor when he is alone with an attractive woman. And sometimes, apparently, even when he is not alone. That goes to the character issue, which is valid when considering who to vote for. I don't like the LA Times timing, and I don't like their slant. But the allegations just don't seem outlandish, and in fact seem in line with rumors and other indicators that we have heard in the last couple of years. If you want to blame ME for Arnold's alleged boorish behavior, whatever, I can't stop you.
(Obligatory shrug.)
Now, I do comment here. I voice my opinion. Do you have a big problem with that?
One would think... (shrug)
Except for the rare misspelling...
;-)

You don't know if that's true.

I would tell him to stop and that I don't appreciate what he is doing. Arnold has said that no one ever told him or complained about it.
And regarding character, here is a link on Davis character and his supporters.
Yes really. Do you behave the same way when watching a football game with your buddies as you do when you're in church?
I'd like to think that I apply the same personal ethics in both situations.
Behaving the same way and ethics are two different things and you were definity commenting on situational ethics not behavior. For instance, while watching football I might be loud while at church I might be quiet -- that's behavior and that certainly changes somewhat based on the surrounding. But that's not ethics. In both situation I will be truthful, I will have respect for others present, I will not take advantage of others, I will maintain self-control, etc.
When it's time to choose a candidate for any office, the only worthwhile measure is your perception of the candidates ethics; i.e., his character.
Groping certainly doesn't say a lot about Arnold's ethics -- it demonstrates a certain degreee of lack of self control. On a positive note, at least he can say these cases happened when he was younger and immature; i.e., when he should have known better. And he apologized for that very reason.
So in other words, Arnold has to be told by others when he might be offensive? You seem to be suggesting that any behavior is ok as long as the group you are with is doing it.
My take is that is exactly what happened. That there is a certain promiscuity within the movie crowd and that behavior that would be offensive almost everywhere else is viewed as normal to them. And that's why the voters in California will give him a pass on these alligations.
But if this behavior continues into the governors office -- better watch out.
Before giving sanctimonious speeches, it is a good idea to find out the facts first. It is a better idea to gather corroborating and substantiating evidence so we can proceed to hang our adversary and not before. So let me give you some of the facts.
Hopefully, once Davis is out, we might be able to find out the truth of Davis' dirty campaign. Not that this will exonerate Arnold 100%, because as he said, he has behaved badly sometimes in some of those rowdy movie sets for which he has apologized.
2000 Anna Richardson
After an interview on her British TV show, he asked her if her breasts were real, and circled her left nipple with his finger.
Sheryl Main, who was present, says this did not happen. She says Richardson went up after the interview cupped her breasts and asked Arnold what he thought of them. She then sat on his lap, at which point Arnold's people immediately escorted her from the room.
2000 Anonymous
Pinned her to his chest and swatted her butt 5-6 times in studio during "Sixth Day" post-production
Arnold specifically denied this incident.
1986 Tamee Smith
Followed her into bathroom and grabbed her breast on set of "Predator"

1979 Elizabeth Rothner
Lifted her sweatshear at a Santa Monica Bar exposing her bare breasts to crowd

1988 Linnea Harwell

1988 Carla Baron
He and his body double on "Twins" created a "Carla Sandwich", and he french kissed her. She slapped him, and told him not to do it again. Schwarzenegger immediately apologized and didn't give her any more trouble on the set, she said.
