Mitch Albom
Liberatio

Does Mitch Albom bother anyone here? If so, then please explain. Something about him bothers me. Just thought I would see if anyone else feels the same. Especially if anyone heard what he said about Rush.

Flunked Mind Reading 101 here. At least I don't have to read your article--'cause there isn't one.
To: Liberatio
Well, he's a mushy liberal of the lamest sort, which I find extremely annoying...he's the very definition of "harmless," however.

Does Mitch Albom bother anyone here? Yes, he does. He is not only a mindless Leftist, he is a sports reporter. Double-plus irksome.

His hair drives me insane (as well as most of his opinions). He's obviously self-concious about his ears with that covering the ears thing.

She only bothers me when she starts ranting and raving about the state of pop music today. I mean, I'm unhappy with the state of pop music myself, but I don't take it so seriously. I still have all my old albums from the 1970s and 80s to listen to.

Did I need to write an article. I cannot tell if it is good comment or bad. Been long day for me.

He bugs the crap out of me and being in Detroit, I have a choice of the liberal on 1310, the Clearchannel station or Albom the liberal on 760. We don't get Savage until 7 and Hannity until 8.
Thank God I'm a stay at home mom and not in the car for drive time. I come home and watch Judge Judy.

He is a rabid left-winger politically but he is one hell of a good sports writer.

I used to be an avid WJR listener. Until they moved David Newman to the dead of night slot. I stopped listening right then and there.

Did I need to write an article. Yes. At least enough to say what bothers you about Mitch. Should be easy, can be short. I think he is an adequate musician, so that's not the problem.

Oh he bugs the hell out of me. Always bitchy, always whining.
I can tolerate liberal talk but not from him.

Albom is a gun grabbing leftist with a poorly rated radio show.

What bothers the hell out of me about Mitch is that he's a liberal who tries to pretend he's a moderate/conservative when he's doing his weekend show on New York's WABC. Because he knows that if he tried to do a radio show on WABC as liberal, his mother wouldn't even listen to him.

David Newman is the best! Is he on anywhere, or is he still recovering from his stroke?
I rarely listen to Mitch. He seems to whine and complain but not offer concrete solutions to issues. If I'm in the car after 3:00, I turn on the all news station.
To: Liberatio
He prides himself on being above it all -- a man that brings "common sense" to airways. He is actually very biased from an elitist first and liberal 2nd perspective. Sometimes, therefore, he sounds almost reasonable, but only when the elitist perspective happens to be somewhat conservative.
He bothers you because you because he manipulates the debate to suit his bias and does it in a very subtle way. For instance, today he said that Rush's opinion was factually wrong. He said the facts were that plenty of black quarterbacks have not made it in the NFL and if the media always supported black QBs then they all would have made it. This is an asinine argument that really supports Rush's point. It is actually because so many black QBs have washed out that the media has tried so hard to support Mcnab.
The other bothersome thing about Mitch is that he has a seriously flawed personality. He is unable to handle anyone disagreeing with him. His male co-host (Kenny a Black Comedian) is cagey enough to rarely disagree with him, and then only on a point that is meaningless anyway. It is painful when the girl co-host (Rachel) dares to disagree or even make a comment, then Mitch slaps her down with a verbal smirk.
To: Liberatio
He is every liberal's favorite moderate.
