Drudge had a great page today, with the Wilson affair and such.
Now it's all Rush.
Interesting.

The dirt we are seeing is the result of the Democrats losing the House, Senate and White House. Either the government will run through Democratic control or there won't be any country to run. The American people are being held hostage.

Rush will be in tomorrow is my bet. There is no way he will stay out of the studio with this BS out there.
To: soozla
Rush has degenerative hearing condition for which he underwent a cochlear implant....quite possible the "drug" would be to stabilize what little hearing he has left Yeah, I've heard that percocet and diet pills are great for cochlear implant recipents.
To: DCBryan1
Oh my.
Say it ain't true Rush! LOL
Provocative storyline may give the media something to talk about for a week or two, but not much more. Rush has been under intensive medical care for over two years now. He had a unique operation to correct a hearing problem, that was causing him to go deaf. That operation and the implant he received, has allowed him to carry on with his radio career. I wouldn't be surprised at all, if in the last 2 1/2 years, Rush took some heavy doses of pills to cope with his hearing problem. Maybe he got hooked for a while. He wouldn't be the first person to get addicted to perscription drugs.
Best of luck Rush. We're all pulling for ya.

I am in shock. This is unbelievable. The worst mistake that man ever made was going on ESPN. The Left is so hateful, I am in awe. The lengths they will go to destroy people is unreal. Why on Earth was he being investigated? This is chilling that they would go to these lengths to discredit
a political critic of theirs. I am flabbergasted!!

The drugs he is accused of "abusing" are same ones John McCain's wife was defitely abusing (See Salon for a piece on that).
One of the symptoms is the rapid loss of hearing.

Presuming that we won't get a Sid Blumenthalesque "Never mind" over this, here's what I am curious about: "Housekeeper wore a wire?" "Cop Probe Nails Him?"
If this is a police investigation and he was "nailed," why in heaven's name is he still on the air?

At the end of his show today, Rush announced he wouldn't be on tomorrow. Sounded like it was a decision that just came up as he said he didn't know who would be on in his place....and he usually always knows this.
Praying.....

I read this as a report of a left wing media assault.

Really lmao
I think the only think holding Byrd up is tens of thousands of pills have you seen his speeches on the floor his text type on the paper must be at least font 73 theres only one paragraph per page and only 10 sentences per paragraph!
lol

Rush Limbaugh, high on a variety of prescription drugs, talked Karl Rove into outing the CIA agent, Plame, cause he was mad as he!! at Joe Wilson for blowing the yellowcake story.
He then gobbled another handleful of multi-colored mind blowers and called Bustamante an over-hyped politician, created by the media in an effort to boost a minority candidate.
