Is this how liberal hollywood types turn their children into drug addicts?
He said his 6-year-old daughter, Julia, is old enough to appreciate the subject of death, and actually revels in it.
"She loves to talk about death," Randall said. "She loves stories about death. If I start a story, she says 'Does anyone die in this?' and I say 'No,' she doesn't want to hear it."

Aging Actor Tony Randall Fantasizes About His Funeral>/I> That reminds me, I haven't watched "All That Jazz" in a long time, I should do that soon.

Actor Tony Randall has a fantasy: when he dies President Bush and Vice President Cheney show up to pay their respects but they're turned away - because his family knows he didn't like them. If Randall has a plot already in mind, his people should consult with the same companies that install septic tanks. I've got a good idea for the design of the gravestone as well:

I agree. I'm a Tony fan from way back when, and have had a few interactions with him myself, always kind and classy. It is such a bummer to hear your faves trash other things you believe in, isn't it? :-(

<< It's the she-loves-death thing I was speaking of. She has been taught to be in love with the fact that she's not going to have a [Surviving male parent] before long. >>
Which causes another couple of the most-frequently-occurring symptoms of the "liberal" psychosis to spring to mind:
Child Abuse and;
Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

IIRC when Bob Hope died his family had a private funeral and I think a memorial service after. President Bush issued a statement on his death but as far as I know that was it. Bob Hope would have been the one entertainer I would have expected the President to show up for the funeral. Tony Randall is a way below Bob Hope in importance. Keep on fantasizing Tony.

It is such a bummer to hear your faves trash other things you believe in, isn't it? :-(I too have run into him on the streets of Manhattan more than once. (The first time because I wasn't paying attention and walked right smack into him when he was standing in the lobby of my workplace.) He's an incredibly nice guy, and he didn't have to be, since I'm about twice his size and nearly knocked him over. (I did the same thing to Regis once too. He's also classy. I gotta start looking where I'm walking, or at least start learning to bump into famous buxom twentysomething females instead of old men.)
It was just a dumb joke Tony made, even if it makes his true feelings obvious. I can live with it. We're never all going to agree politically, after all, and on the Dixie Chicks Hate Scale, Tony's little jab is about a 1.5 out of 10.

,,, why is this crap even being quoted?Joe Carey, the author of this piece, has sort of carved out a beat for himself covering celebrities in Washington (which usually involves them saying something political, naturally). He probably got a press release and decided to go see if Tony would say anything, which Tony did. Gives Carey something to write about. No big conspiracy or anything.

I never watch Rock Hudson movies any more or Van Johnson movies either.I saw a story in the paper last week interviewing Tab Hunter about his 'coming out of the closet'. GAG! So much for all those teen girls drooling over him in the early 60s!
This is depressing that all these guys we girls goggled at in our teens and pre-teens have suddenly come out! Not only Tab, but Richard Chamberlain.
Dr. Kildare!! Say it ain't so!!
