Excellent post.

Which makes him a perfect tool for the Clintons to use and discard. The 'stalking horse' theory gains credence daily.I beleive the Clinton's plan is to push Clark very hard to become the party's nominee. If he gets it, they will immediately leak all the dirt they have on him, forcing him to withdraw at which time Hillary rides in to save the day for the Dems.
Sounds kinda familiar, doesn't it.

I think Hillary will ride in before the nomination, but the result will be the same in the end.

"character and integrity issues"...straight from the horse's mouth.
Who could ever trust Clark, Clinton intimate, Butcher of Kosovo, personification of evil?
Are Democrats so stupid as to choose this person as their candidate?

Bump and bookmark for later read and reference.

Tell me if it was on all the alphabet news.
I did catch a glimpse of Wolf Blitzed this evening and he made an oblique reference to the fact that when Clark announced he had NO ONE present from his former military career. No other comments, just those few words.

Shinseki is virulently against the reformation that Rumsfeld wants. He is the General who was feeding Clark and Hackworth all the negative stuff during the war......most if not all of which proved to be WRONG.

What I don't understand is why Clark thinks it won't come out.Don't forget who his political minders are . . . a convicted perjurer and proven rapist who STILL managed to serve eight years and a carpet-bagging, sleaze ball who will cut your throat while smiling in your face and then wax poetic about it taking a village to raise perverted little Democrats.
A little thing like skeletons in Balkan closets is nothing for this egomaniacal triumvirate.

"However,..I think perhaps Hitlery is banking on just that!!"
Maybe Clark's real job is just to ruin Dean 's chance since Dean said he would clean out the DNC of the Clintonistas. Even if Dean didn't win a national election, if he got the nomination that would give him access and time to clean the rat house.

We had the same game in law school. But we called it @$$hole bingo. Leave it to the military to come up with a more technical term than even wannabe lawyers use.

General Shelton from the article:
"I've known Wes for a long time. I will tell you the reason he came out of Europe
early had to do with integrity and character issues, things that are very near
and dear to my heart.
I'm not going to say whether I'm a Republican or a Democrat.
I'll just say Wes won't get my vote."
For my fellow "boomer-generation" members who remember the old TV mini-series
"Once An Eagle", an anonymous Army caller to Hugh Hewitt's show on
the day of Clark's announcement, gave us a fictional model of Wesley Clark.
The Wease-Like Social-Climber Army officer: Courtenay Massengale
If "Once An Eagle" were available on DVD/Vido (as it should be), General Shelton
could have simply say "I've know officer like Courtenay Massengale, and Wesley Clark
is a Courtenay Massengale"
OR, he could have said "I've know officers like Sam Damon (the self-sacrificing
officer played by Sam Elliot)...and Wesley is no Sam Damon.
"Once An Eagel" is reviewed at The Internet Movie Database at:
