I think I'll be having another cup.

I dedicate this thread to all the coffee drinkers in the forum.

Post your favorites below.

I am having a freshly ground blend of African Coffee beans.

What about you?

It just smells like it when beans are being roasted.

I say again, "Yuck!" :)

I usually mix Millstone coffees in roughly this proportion: 50% Columbian, 40% Kona Blend, 10% Fog Lifter (or some other interesting bean).

Wife is pregnant. I've had to switch to Folgers Decaf in our house. I'm sure the shakes an twitching will go away in a week or so.

Listen, I hear that People for Junk Science in Their Own Interest has said that caffeine is bad, as bad as heroin! So is fat! And suger! And Chinese food (at least the American kind, the all vegetable kind they probably really have in China is OK, except for that too much fiber can bind you up, so I guess all of that is bad, sorta.) And Italian food. And cheese. And meat, don't get me started about meat! And chicken is bad, because they are raised in tiny little pens, worse than Asschwitz! And fish, well, they feel every little thing, so imagine an iron hook in YOUR lip, mister! And starch is bad for you. Did I mention fat? And just about anything that is any fun! So cut it out!

I like the TV comic who said:

"I like my coffee like I like my women. Black, and bitter as anything!"

With thy life-giving aroma
Save me from going into a coma.

LOL. I need more than the three cups a day in this poem to stay out of a coma!

The Cafe DuMonde...Ja, I love that stuff. But I thought I'd try to boost the local economy by mentioning Jelks.

I roast my own beans - it's the one hobby my family won't let me abandon. This week it's 50% Sumatra Gold / 50% Sulawesi Toraja & Ethiopian Sidamo Decaf. It tastes unbelievable.

I love coffee. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Too bad someone can't figure a way to dispense it through FR.

LOL! I will only drink Starbucks coffee under major protest! I.e., when there is no other coffee to drink! And it has to be diluted with 50% water and alotta sugar!

I prefer the Giant grocery store blend of Columbian/French Roast -- 50% leaded, 50% unleaded, or any other non-Starbucks! LOL!

P.S. Glad you and VoC made it through Isabel w/out major damage/injury to person/possessions/property. See you in Albuturkey.
