This is a partial transcript from Hannity & Colmes, September, 12 2003 that has been edited for clarity.
SEAN HANNITY, CO-HOST: California gubernatorial candidate Cruz Bustamante's past affiliation with a controversial group, MECHA (search), is drawing a lot of attention from his political opponents. Will his past involvement with this group destroy his chances at becoming governor?

Based on Brent's statements, we can therefore assume that any racist group that does carwashes and charities is no longer a racist group.
"you're getting your information from some very dubious sources and that's not their slogan. And that's not what their core mission is. "-Wilkes
If that is not their slogan and mission, what is? Why was it on their website before it was pulled. Did Hannity make it up?
Wilkes claims that US English, a group Arnold is a part of is a racist/anti-hispanic/anti-immigrant organization. Their chairman says otherwise and he's pretty convincing; he's a hispanic immigrant. Here's the link that Wilkes should have looked up: http://www.us-english.org/inc/about/chairman.asp
LULAC is suppossed to be a non-partisan organization. Most of its members are just hispanics who are going through school or want connections for jobs. Most are probably not into politics at all. It's leadership however, has become a puppet for the illegal immigrant agenda. LULAC's national statements include: Respect your Citizenship and preserve it, proud of your origin, Believe in God, love Humanity, and Always be honorable etc. Wlikes does not immulate any of this by supporting illegal immigration on all issues, making excuses for a racist group, and lying about it's goals.
The most important thing to remember: There are a lot of hispanics and other immigrants that are against illegal immigration. About 1/4 or so hispanics supported Prop 187. If the issue were publicly debated, that number would rise. Unfortunately, a debate forum for both sides to meet does not exist.

-Bustamante Busted? MEChA ties, and more.--
"Fundraisers like the Salvation Army" is a cunning spin, but these outfits are far more sinister and racist.
And that's not what their core mission is
Hannity should have asked, what are there other missions?
They focus on helping Hispanic students make it through college.
What are there other focuses?
And they really are an organization that helps promote pride in Hispanic culture and Hispanic history.
Acutally some kind of identity-confused secular American middle-class version of Mexican history. Regardless, why say "really"?
Over and over I've seen posts claiming their educational purposes. (So what, Hitler was pro-education too, for his perceived breed). Has anyone from Mecha ever declaimed the "For the Race everything..." slogan? I haven't seen it. Just diversions. A logical conclusion is they believe in it, still and for the future.
It's OK for an admittedly racist organization like MEChA to exist, because their racism is...what? Stated, but not overtly practiced?
But it's Not OK for U.S. English to exist, even though they don't overtly or covertly espouse any thing to do with race, they merely assert that a single nation should have a single language.
Gee, must be hard walking around with that sort of internal contradiction. Probably make ya kinda neurotic. Almost like a guy with a last name of "Wilkes" fronting for a Hispano-Supremacist group. Must be Anglo-Saxon Speak for "Quisling"....
That's precisely what slimy, self-loathing liberal dweeb Brent Wilkes is. A quisling. Probably a happy punk, too.
I bet Wilkes claims to be "Hispanic" just like that Martin Scheen, Bill Richardson, or V. Fox. They are nothing more than self-hating liberal, leftist of European origins. This whole idea of a hispanic race is just a scam and alot mis-informed people are falling it.
The fact that they recently pulled that website reveals a lot in itself. MEChA was never a social club ---- they had plenty of those I'm sure. Plus Bustamante could have joined the Cesar Chavez grape and lettuce striking groups, the UFW union which was leftist but not promoting the over-throw of the USA government and not a racist hate group. Bustamante chose the radical racist group ---- just like a David Duke did. Only Bustamante doesn't want to be held accountable.
Hannity should have then asked why Bustamante so easily used the "n" word ---- and what anti-white words has he been known to use? The "g" word?
I do believe that having group sex is perfectly legal, but I guess Colmes mentioned it in order to try to make Arnold look bad in some people's eyes. Maybe Colmes is just jealous of Arnold because Colmes has never had group sex.
Maybe his mom's mom came from Spain. Hell, even people in the English Court have Spanish bloodlines. The notion that it makes you some kind of "oppressed minority" is ludicrous. Were the Conquistadors an "oppressed minority"? Methinks they were the ones doing the "oppressing".
I always thought Spaniards were proud of their history. It's a bit pathetic to see them wrapping themselves in sackcloth and declaring themselves the poor victims of the gringos. Maybe not a "bit" pathetic. More like seriously pathetic, even contemptable.
You are exactly right. These people have no shame.
