Please answer 3 simple questions:

1) Are you Rick Hasen, yes or no.

2) Have you lent any support to an effort to get the 9th Circuit to delay the CA recall election from Oct. 7th?

3) Are you in favor of delaying the recall election?

Oh, so that's your next hope, huh? That the court will illegally delay the election?

You can't blame them. They've grown to take a cue from the liberal counterparts. Act bitter and petty when you don't get your way.

I bet that little Tommy supporters were relating to the DNC candidates that were spilling out their vitriol at GWB last night on the debates.

My concern about this is that everyone seems to have lost the POINT of the recall, which is to get a REPUBLICAN IN THE GOVERNOR'S SEAT!

Frankly, I am from Indiana, and have no vote. However, I would rather see EITHER McClintock or Schwartzenegger in office over Bustamante.

I do not understand why California Republicans always have to be at war. We have pretty much settled this situation in Indiana, and Mitch Daniels will be our nominee. We want to WIN.

I am asking all of the Californians, both Arnold and Tom supporters, to please see if there can't be some sort of deal worked out. Control of the California governorship would help Bush a great deal in the elections next year, because the governor has a lot of influence on the actions of state agencies.

PLEASE, Californians, try to work something out!!!

Yes, a man who has some principles. Disgusting! Shame!

Yeah, the principles of someone who doesn't care whom he hurts or what evil he helps to promote so long as things go his way, whether he wins or not.

"Tom may be a great conservative, but he's a lousy Republican.

True, true, I bet he voted for Ross Perot.

>>>Making fun of McClintock's looks is a cheap shot ...

That's all Arnold's supporters around FR have to offer. Cheap shots and ridicule. Nothing more.

I honestly believe Arnold's supporters understand, their guy is an empty suit and can't defend his rhetoric with specifics and details. So they try and prop him up by tearing down McClintock. Very sad.

Those eyes, those McClintock eyes. Just like that one Dixie Chick. I can't tell which eye to look at.

Did you ever hit a hot button.
I'm sorry, but stuff like this is really uncalled for. I detest these sort of mindless insults. My oldest daughter had strabismus and amblyopia from birth (crossed and lazy eye) and had to undergo 3 operations by the time she was four. I can still remember the cruel taunting and pain she was subjected to. Obviously no one in your family ever went through something like that - for which you are lucky - or I'm sure you wouldn't post something so petty and mean.

Is this really what this forum has been reduced to? Can't discuss the issues rationally so we throw childish insults about crossed eyes, thin lips, etc.? I could do without most of the vile and imbecilic graphics as well.

Everything I've said goes for both sides. If this is an example of "The Big Tent" Republicans are always raving about it makes me very glad I am an Independent. Talk about eating your own.

There are still plenty of rational, sane people on this site, but also a large crowd of others who really, REALLY need to GROW UP.

Well I would be responding to half the posts on these disgusting and muddy Arnold/Tom threads if I were to criticize every cheap shot. About as bad as has been seen on FR. So not trying to pick on you.

Though I may give you some ribbing when Texas beats OU in the Cotton Bowl next month.

decided to attack the 'Rat candidate because of his full head of hair. You can guess who won that election (and now threatens to take a Senate seat from us up there next year).

Well if the GOP loses that seat it will be because daddy never got his daughter the pony she always wanted as a child so decided to make it up to her by giving her a US Senate seat instead. LOL.

"Oh please! That's some foul stuff coming out of ambrosia's mouth, we can't have some fun here?"

Too bad you spend so much time ripping down Conservatives instead of liberals in BOTH parties. But, please, continue to help the Davis regime. He appreciates all your aid and assistance.

"How many votes would it take for SCOTUS to vacate the ruling?

5. And they've usually overruled the 9th by 9-0 votes, even after eight years of Clinton."

The swing case would be Sandra Day O'Connor, because at least 4 Justices are sure to opt to punt on a decision to vacate the 9th's ruling.

I'd put the odds of SCOTUS vacating a delay of the election at 50-50, it all depends on Mullah Sandra, however she's been drifting pretty far left recently...

"PS: That's not the McClintock backers plan, that's the DNC in conjunction with the 9th Circuit's plan of action.

The fact that the McClintockites are rooting for a DNC plan is enough to give me pause."

Well if Arnold IS the savior that the some here have been claiming he is, then he should have no problem running for an extra 6 months...

Notice how these vapid RINOs have nothing to say about any of McClintock's positions? They just comment on the way his eyes look? They remind me of all thoe bimbos who said they were voting for Clinton because he was "sexy"... Disgusting...

Don't call me a RINO. Bush would not be president if not for people like myself that supported and worked for him way before you knew who he was.

Over the years I've learned that while it's unfortunate perception plays a very important role in campaigns/elections. I've seen this McClinock guy several times and he doesn't have "it". Sorry. He just does not have the juice. He comes off dull and a bit odd and has this smell about him that he "deserves to win" because he has been a a breathing professional politician in CA for years. He does have weird eyes, BTW. He is not telegenic. Something he has to be in this flashbulb of a race.

McClintock is not going to win. He knows it and he will be removing himself from the race soon. If he does not he is in the wrong racket. That is unless his job is to make sure that no Republican wins.

OK, if that was what he really said, then I stand corrected. That would seem to be more consistent, and I could have misheard, but that was not the initial impression I got.

I'll post the transcript when it comes out.
