Does anybody know if Peter Paul is still alive? If he is dead, we certainly would have heard about it by now.
He made a big mistake when he fled the country. His failure to immediately waive extradition when he was arrested was bad for him and good for Hillary.

if so, there are only TWO MORE DAYS until the potential end of Hillary! If you really believe that then you have seriously understimated this woman and the legions of people whose depth of support for her knows no bottom.

Been waiting on this news for quite some time...the original thread that I came across was:
FBI Raids Hillary's Warehouse in Whitewater Deja Vu (June 2002)
Bush originally made a deal with the Dems not to pursue charges against the Clintons in return for getting legislation through. The Dems have clearly reneged on the deal. With speculation that Hillary is going to run for Prez, this is Bush's ace in the hole and a huge warning shot across the bow.

Pardon me, this will make no difference. None. The Senate would dare not do any more than slap her porculent wrist.

You have to be kidding. Do you really think that breaking some financial laws in ANY WAY is going to damage the Hildabeast? Haven't you learned anything from Der Schlickmeister and his Houdini act? These people are incapable of being tainted by illegality, even if caught red-handed and fat-thighed on TAPE!

The exact nature of Tonken's allegations against Sen. Clinton remains secretWhy? Let's hear what he's got before we extradite him or entertain any plea bargains.

Unfortunately this story will recieve very little attention from the major media. The teflon Donna will skate on the negative stories about her. It's whether the republicans have the balls to hammer home the truth about her. Their slogan needs to be "when democrats call republicans mean spirited that means that democrats cannot handle the truth".

I note you signed on in May, 2001. Maybe you've been lurking since early 1998. I'd need two calculators, a slide rule and an abacus to keep track of the number of times we've heard on this site that "this is the issue" that's going to bring Bill and Hill down only to be disappointed. It ain't going to happen. I hope I'm wrong, and I'll gladly eat my hat if I am, but it ain't going to happen...especially when I reached the part about Judicial Watch being involved. Call me cynical. More details on the fundraiser:
An in-depth article in Sunday's Los Angeles Times examined the relationship between the gala political fundraiser held at Stan Lee's home for Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign and the collapse of Stan Lee Media shortly thereafter. According to the article, the fundraiser, which cost approximately $2 million to stage but raised only $1 million for the campaign, figured prominently in both the collapse and the subsequent legal problems of Stan Lee Media executives. That's because the money for the fundraiser came largely from Merrill Lynch margin accounts secured by Stan Lee Media co-founder Peter Paul's stock in the company. The borrowing was in excess of the limit placed on borrowing against the stock, and when Merrill froze activity in the accounts in November of 2000, checks started bouncing, rumors that Stan Lee Media was out of cash began to spread, the stock price began to spiral downward, and a $40 million financing deal for the company collapsed, leading to the company's demise.
Among those facing legal problems related to the events are former Stan Lee Media executive Stephen Gordon, who was convicted in what was termed a "check-kiting" scheme and faces sentencing August 4th (he plans to appeal); two others convicted with Gordon; Peter Paul, who awaits extradition in a Brazilian jail; and fundraiser Aaron Tonken, charged with mail fraud for charitable promotions unrelated to the event but now being investigated for his political fundraising, according to the article.
