Bush originally made a deal with the Dems not to pursue charges against the Clintons in return for getting legislation through. The Dems have clearly reneged on the deal. With speculation that Hillary is going to run for Prez, this is Bush's ace in the hole and a huge warning shot across the bow.

I believe he made a deal with Hell-R-Eeeeeeeeee.

But I wish I could believe he would suddenly find the gumption to stand up to them after they have thoroughly and totally gone against this deal.

Mutually Assured Destruction seems to be the policy of our alleged two party system.

Maybe this prosecution, or potential prosecution is a warning for all the Bush hate that the Clintons have been trying to stir up, here and abroad. And maybe... that little speech that Bill gave, supporting the WMDs in Iraq, was aimed at slowing down the investigation.
