Let me get this straight -- you're criticizing a journalist for actually doing his job, as opposed to being a lazy, ideological blowhard?

I believe Dick Wolf's affliction is more rooted in ignorance, than outright bias and therefor a "war against whites". Bernard Goldberg describes this phenomenon best in his book Bias.

Maybe I'm just a cockeyed optimist, but I really don't believe these people consciously do what they do. That's why they're so adimate in their denial of their bias.

Not all. I was simply observing the fact that this is not a new story. Look around any Hollywood production and you'll see your share of liberal cliches. I would have liked it more if the journalist told us something about Hollywood beyond the fact that it can't abide the real world.

Ain't THAT the truth! I've noticed, every time they have a comparison commercial, ("This person uses crummy Brand X, while this person is smart enough to use the right brand,") you can bet your bottom dollar it's an attractive, professional-looking, brilliant black person using the correct brand, while the clueless, hapless dum-dum struggling with the inferior brand is white. I have literally never seen it otherwise. Don't these companies want white customers???

Check out the home alarm commercials, too. Whenever they depict a sinister-looking burglar breaking in through the window, it's always, always a white guy.

I'll have to read Bias, but while many Hollywood insiders are ignorant, from what I know about Wolf, he is one very smart cookie. Or maybe I'm just a cockeyed pessimist.
